Big place. Windows on 2 sides. All low tops with plastic chairs and black table cloths. A couch. High ceilings with original vibe. Bar seats six. But the music was very good for no guitars and no drums and no electricity. Felt like the 20’s...or 30’s. the frenchman street jazz gangsters killed itMore
FAVELA CHIC is horrible... the owner is a complete elitist & racist -- AND he has no respect for the musicians who perform at his venue. This establishment is a terrible addition to Frenchmen Street. BOO!!! There's already one Bourbon Street... no need to ruin...the one (live music) scene in NOLA that was worth visiting.More
A hidden little gem on Frenchman street that serve up delicious late night food. Had the Shrimp Tacos and they were light yet satisfying filled with fresh flavors! The home made hot sauce was a added delight! Highly recommend. Didn’t have the pizza but while...sitting there for about 30 minutes there was a constant stream of pizza rolling from the kitchen. Next time!More
One of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. The steak was so tender..... pork quesarito also good! Great atmosphere, super chill, open late, cheap. Great service and super cool staff! Definitely check it out! Also, the music is gold!
If you use a card to pay here, watch your statement after you leave. The waitress brought me our receipt and there was nowhere for me to sign. The bill came to $21, I tipped $3 and signed the receipt near the bottom. I also...took a picture of it, and I’m glad I did, because I looked at my credit card statement the day after and they had charged me $50!! I called my credit card company immediately and submitted a dispute. This place was shady.More
