Visiting this restaurant is a must when you are in NOLA. You will not be disappointed. This restaurant was recommended by Lauren from the Nopsi Hotel and if it wasnt due to time I would have visited again. Amazing food and setting.
Maypop is the perfect combination on what you would like in a restaurant: from the food, to the design of the restaurant and friendliness of the staff all of it works to create a perfect experience.

We went for lunch.
Great advice from our host and attentive but not too much.
We had the best food we’ve had in a long time -
We had peach, ham, pardon pepper salad and fries oysters which were both so much more...More
Fantastic dinner .
Taste , flavors , composition everything was perfect.
Service was great too ....
What a nice evening , thank you . I doubt there is a lot better in Nola ...
Oh , I forgot , it was CHEAAAP.....
Quality of the food was very good. But the price was very high for the amount you receive. Bartender was very personable and polite. Modern design inside was nice and clean. Could not eat lunch there everyday but the food is a treat!
Was on business in NOLA and this restaurant was a block from my hotel and came w good recommendations from the hotel staff. Boy were they right. I don’t like hyperbole, but this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had and I’ve been...More
Impromptu business lunch here on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. Menu is limited and seafood heavy but each dish was better than the next. The oyster appetizer was amazing as was the shrimp noodle dish and spicy chicken. Portions are hearty and service was friendly and...More
the food here is amazing, fresh, flavorsome and was by and far the best restaurant in New Orleans that realizes that people don't always want to eat food laden in sauces or salt. Portions are sized appropriately, not massive or oily. Service was impeccable, they...More
We visited with friends, based on a TA recommendation, and were not disappointed. The menu was eclectic - an interesting Asian-New Orleans fusion. We had several dishes, all of which were excellent. I highly recommend the bone marrow and crawfish dish - wow! We also...More
We tried this venue based on a recommendation from friends and we were not disappointed. This Asian food venue served tasty hand made cocktails (albeit a little more expensive than other drinks) and Asian fusion food that is more than tasty and mouth watering. We...More
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
