Had dinner tonight for the first and last time at Marjie's Grill. We had a number of appetizers with the only one worth mentioning was the cornbread and fried shrimp. I got the $17 "pork loin" which arrived a few field greens (dirty) on the...More

I was blown away by the depth and range of flavors in our dinner at Marjie’s. With a repertory of tastes and techniques derived from Southern US and Southeast Asian cuisines, the chef doesn’t seem to be hung up on pedigree, just on choosing from...More

Marjie's chef comes up with creative Asian-Southern fusion dishes. We had the turmeric-dusted pork cracklins and the Singapore-style noodles with Gulf shrimp, for example. It was all really good, in a very unpretentious atmosphere.
