My husband and I had our first dinner in NOLA at this restaurant. It was both of our favorite meal of the trip! Recommend it to everyone. Like any restraurant in NOLA check the hours for dining.

We dropped into the Grapevine for a late supper after seeing a jazz show - staff were friendly and helpful, inviting us to sit at the bar and chat, while we had a drink and tried the delicious crispy bacon bar snacks, followed by the crab cakes and the beef medallions. All delicious and I'm sold on the idea of... More

Reading all the reviews I expected to have THE rack of lambs, but it was just ok...they just spread butter with a mix of herbs which did not impress... Poor lamb...

I had to read your review three times to believe what you said about our lamb. First of all, there were many many many praising reviews over the last year about our lamb. Your review is the one and only negative one. People say it’s wonderful, delicious, superb, best meal ect ect ect. Our lamb is grade A, free range... More

We had a very nice meal in this place in the garden area. Here there water vapour is sprayed and blown over customers to keep you cool which was much welcomed. The staff were very friendly likeable people and food pretty tasty. I did eat better at other restaurants lower down the tripadvisor ranking but it's hard to judge on... More

We loved it here. Probably the best meal of our holiday. We both had the ste and lobster and it was fantastic. We were seated outside in the garden. Lovely atmosphere and great fun.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place for the first time a few nights ago. We were looking for something other than deep fried food for a change, and we are so glad we arrived at Orleans Grapevine. I had the steak and my husband had the lamb. They were both superb and cooked exactly how we asked. The... More

The food was incredible; great selection, fresh ingredients, and delightful flavors. They do have many gluten free options. Fantastic wine selection. I'd eat here again next time I'm in town. Absolutely recommend stopping by.

Orleans Grapevine is cute. It has a nice courtyard and bar. It is located in the middle of the Quarter. They have good service. I stopped in for a champagne cocktail, which was good on a hot summer afternoon. I ordered a small plate of scallops as a snack. It was really not good. They were dried out, wrapped in... More

We are sorry you did not enjoy your scallops. If you look back at previous reviews, you will see people have raved about this item. You stated they were dried out, the bacon was rubbery and they were too salty. It is possible that the chef could have made a mistake and had improperly cooked the bacon or added too... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
