Service is quick, there is variety in offerings, prices are higher than I like, but the ice cream is delicious.

I was a lactose intolerant.. this creole ice cream was the only ice cream that doesn't make my stomach upset. Butter pecan was the best flavor...true taste of new orleans!!!

Loved this place. We got a bowl of 6 scoops - Lavender and Honey, Oatmeal Cookie, Key Lime, Coffee Pecan Brittle, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate. All of the flavours were distinctive and tasted superb. Very reasonably priced and a good stop on a walk around the Garden District.

My sister and I had a sundae each and it was cheap. 5.50 with all the toppings which was incrdible. I had lavender honey and salted almond and the right amount of hot fudge so every bit had the fudge in it. What a great place and the flavors are so unique. I tried the oatmeal raisin also and it... I've been to the Creole Creamery dozens of times and always love it! However, we went yesterday and the butter rum toffee ice cream was likely the best ice cream I've ever had! I'm planning to go back tomorrow and buy some to stock my freezer in case they quit carrying it! The staff is always friendly and the flavors... More

Visited Creole Creamery on a Saturday night, and it was the perfect end to a delicious weekend in New Orleans. The Oatmeal Cookie ice cream was out of this world! Wish I could have taken some home with me. We will make a point to visit again whenever in NOLA.

We were in town on vacation and stopped here on our way to Audubon Park for our kids to play. This was a great stop and very easy to get to from the Streetcar. We are so glad we found this place. We have 3 kids (7/5/2) and they simply loved this place. Great ice cream!

I love trying new things! My tastebuds are always ready for an adventure so it was very exciting when I moved into the neighborhood and found this spot around the corner. With flavors like lavender honey, violet champagne and earl grey I am always left with a smile on my face. The staff is always pleasant and informative. It's a... More

Great ice cream. A local favorite with some extraordinary flavored. Located around several really good uptown restaurants, it's a great dessert after a good meal.

Staying in Uptown / Carrollton

Neighborhood Profile
Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate feel. Home to Tulane and Loyola Universities, all the students living in the area ensure that Uptown and Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife and socializing (and yes of course more of the city’s outstandingly good food and live music) are Oak Street and Maple Street. For a truly wild time, the expansive acreage of Audubon Park, with its zoo, golf course, and actual patches of swampy wetlands, means peace and quiet are never too far away.
