Nice place to stop after a long walk on a hot day! Mexican Hot Chocolate and Salted Carmel made for a nice combination. Give it try!

If you love, not like ice cream, Creole Creamery is just the place to spend a hot day. The flavors are diverse, well conceived, and only use the finest ingredients. This is a must visit if you are in the uptown area. Having dinner at Crepe Nanou, La Thi, or The Upperline? Save room for desert at Creole Creamery. Just... More

I'd heard of Creole Creamery on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and couldn't wait to try them out on my recent trip to NO. It was well with the Uber ride. We went to the Prytania St location. While it was busy, the service was great and fast. My favorite flavor was the lavender rose. Make sure ti get the sampler!... More

Service is quick, there is variety in offerings, prices are higher than I like, but the ice cream is delicious.

Loved this place. We got a bowl of 6 scoops - Lavender and Honey, Oatmeal Cookie, Key Lime, Coffee Pecan Brittle, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate. All of the flavours were distinctive and tasted superb. Very reasonably priced and a good stop on a walk around the Garden District.

My sister and I had a sundae each and it was cheap. 5.50 with all the toppings which was incrdible. I had lavender honey and salted almond and the right amount of hot fudge so every bit had the fudge in it. What a great place and the flavors are so unique. I tried the oatmeal raisin also and it... Staying in Uptown / Carrollton

Neighborhood Profile
Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate feel. Home to Tulane and Loyola Universities, all the students living in the area ensure that Uptown and Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife and socializing (and yes of course more of the city’s outstandingly good food and live music) are Oak Street and Maple Street. For a truly wild time, the expansive acreage of Audubon Park, with its zoo, golf course, and actual patches of swampy wetlands, means peace and quiet are never too far away.
