Visited the restaurant several times and the entree' dishes which we ordered were not consistent in the flavors and the amount of sauce. On our first visit the entree's were excellent and the second time around the dishes had a completely different flavor profile. Also,...some of the dishes were completely over salted with salt, not spice. Great Service, Great Atmosphere. We will be back and hopefully by this review the problems will go away. Enjoy!!!More

Food was mediocre and way overpriced. Got the crab claws which was market price and server said he thought they were 9 bucks that day. The plate came and they were tiny and not much meat at all and it was $19 - atrocious! Got...the platter for one which was shrimp and crab and the shrimp were nasty. I have eaten a lot of shrimp in my day and never seen the goo run out like this - neon yellow. This dish was market price and was told it would be $12 and when bill came it was $23. The server apologized for quoting me wrong pricing but nothing was done to correct it. Spoke to manager and she just shrugged her shoulders like it was no big deal. There are far too many other wonderful restaurants to eat while in NOLA - do not waste your time here!More

When I was in town for a work convention in the spring of '17, a group of friends a I went searching for a crawfish boil venue and discovered Clesi's at it's original location. I have never had anything as good as this for crawfish....The crawfish were fresh and local and served up hot and spicy. Needless to say, we plowed through the two tubs we ordered in no time and were pondering seconds. I was looking forward to another experience in August 2019 when I was in New Orleans, but was informed that they weren't in season then and should plan on coming in the late winter/spring time. I will plan another trip when the nation is free of lockdowns.More

You’ve GOT to go here! Before I even start with the food, let me say how incredible the staff is. I took a group of teenagers to New Orleans and we were scheduled to visit Clesi’s on Saturday night. We were forced to return home...a day early because of coronavirus concerns. The great people at Clesi’s generously managed to work us in Friday instead. They were so warm and friendly. And the food! Where to begin? It was all so delicious. We can’t wait to go back!More

Well worth the streetcar ride out of the French Quarter for the best Seafood Boil. (A 24hr pass is $3, while a one way ride is $1.25). The Youtuber “simply dumpling” brought us to this place. The taste and ample amount of food for “the...boiling pot” serving (2lbs of shrimp, crawfish, with sausage, corn, and potatoes) was what won us over. You can taste the freshness of the seafood along with just the right amount of seasoning. I don’t think they coat the seafood with their spice like they do in Ocean City Maryland crabs, and instead infuse it in their boiling water. That way you taste the spice throughout the shrimp and crawfish. Ocean City - take note! It has an outdoor and indoor section, with an outdoor handwashing area, and some outdoor games. A casual, family friendly place.More

We were looking for authentic New Orleans boil seafood restaurant and come across Clesi’s. Everything we ordered was delicious. The fried green beans, ousters, the boiled crawfish was our favourite. Highly recommended you are looking for authentic experience.

Great restaurant off the main grid with great atmosphere and superb service. We ubered from downtown for about $11 for 6. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The portions were incredible. A half platter of crayfish fed 2-3 easily. The menu had food for...any taste, drinks were tasty and reasonably priced. We all cleared our plates and had a great time!!More

Get mesmerized by watching the process of crawfish cooking... Started with delicious broccoli bites and charbroiled oysters. Also had a fried seafood platter and 2lb boiled platter. This was all more than enough food for four. Be prepared to sit outside, since indoor seating is...limited.More
