Pizza was good. I had an olive oil based pizza , it was very good. My picky daughter ordered sausage, she is too picky and declared she did not like the sausage, I tasted it and seemed fine to me.

I had heard so many good things about this restaurant and another just opened closer to my house as well. I was very disappointed. Half of the crust was black and burnt as well as my other 2 friends and I saw others pass by me that were burnt. There was not enough sauce for my liking. With the crust... More

Pizza Brutta is great for people who want pizza in Madison. I went here every time we went to Madison. The food is baked in a firewood oven, rarely seen in Wisconsin. The food is great and there are at least 7 things to drink. It gets crowded on the weekends, usually Saturday. It is good for kids and is... More

Both pizzas we had were great. The wood fire grilling makes the crust turn out great. The service was fast and friendly.

Stayed at hotel down the street and ordered carryout to enjoy on my balcony. By the time I ordered and walked down the street, my pizza was ready! I had the Prosciutto Arugula - wowsa! Wood fired Neapolitan pizza with crispy arugula, salty prosciutto and creamy ricotta. Yum!

The pizza was fresh and delicious! I would definitely go here again! We did "take out". Pizza was ready when we arrived.

We loved the pizza here. Ate way too much. Ordered 4 different pizzas for three adults and two kids. The four cheese is runny, messy and oh so yummy. Margarita was so good. Sausage and basil was my son's favorite. And we had an asparagus specialty pizza that I would eat every day if I could. All pizzas come on... More

I fell in love with Pizza Brutta in the fall, when I was looking for a pizza place that reminded me of a traditional Italian pizza, which of course meant it was cooked in a stone fired oven. This place is cheap and delicious, it also allows you to create custom pizza's. The staff is friendly and the wait isn't... More

Parking was challenging as the street is busy and we ended up choosing a 2 hour spot around the corner in the neighborhood behind it. The pizza was very flavorful and reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone!

After reading the reviews about this place, I was leery about trying. The reviews said it was a popular restaurant and usually had lines out the doors. But we decided to go there. Parking was alright. We parked a couple of blocks away and walked to it on Monroe St. We were surprised that there wasn't a line. We went... More
