Location and contact

The latest endeavor from Chef Tory Miller, Estrellón, brings Spanish-influenced small plates and tapas to downtown Madison, with the same locally-sourced vision as L'Etoile, Graze, and Sujeo. Expect simplistically beautiful composed dishes, housemade charcuterie, incredible Iberian wines, and rich mahogany woodwork. We're proud to represent and support our local family farmers and producers. With a blend of Spanish-imported and Wisconsin-grown ingredients, the cultural and regional merging at Estrellón is a dining experience that is uniquely Madison. Reservations recommended for the Dining Room. Our open Kitchen Bar & Tapas Bar seating is first-come, first seated during our regular service hours

We had early reservations before a show at the Overture. They offered us the chance to sit at the counter facing the kitchen and we are so glad we did! Executive Chef Tory Miller was there for the evening and it was incredible (and quite...More

I had the opportunity to go to Estrellon for dinner, and ordered the Chef's Tasting Menu. Even the simple Pan con Tomate, an unassuming little item, was delicious, and it got better and better from there. The shrimp were cooked to absolute perfection, the asparagus...More

Tried this place for the first time the other night, and it was well worth it. A friend and I chose the tasting menu, which provided a varied walk-through of their menu. A few of the items were not to my taste, but that was...More

The tapas are fantastic at Estrellon. The patatas bravas are one of my favorite things on the menu. The tomato bread was meh. Not worth it. The seafood paella was pretty good, but not the best I've ever had.

We visited Estrellon before seeing The King and I at the Overture Center. They recommended we make our reservations (yes, you will want a reservation) about 2.25 hours before the show started. We parked in the ramp east of State St within walking distance of...More

Food was fine but nothing amazing considering the price, same for the drinks. Glad I tried it but don’t need to return.

I visited this restaurant with a friend before attending a live production at a theater up the street. The ambience here was cozy and inviting, quiet enough to enjoy a conversation. As soon as we were greeted, we were offered the choice of a table...More

We were invited to a party with a set menu. Although there were many selections, the portions were scant. The food was good but was only a tiny taste.

Holy cow! This place blows the other “small plates” restaurants out of the water with its authenticity, ambience, and variety. There is a gluten-free menu that seemingly contains darn near everything on the regular menu (even a gluten-free bread basket). Yay to the bartender, the...More

Let me start off by saying that I am a big fan of Tory Miller and Graze is probably my favorite restaurant in Madison. That being said, the food at Estrellon fell short. In my opinion, the food was underwhelming. There was just nothing that...More
