We were going to a UW volleyball game and wanted a quick bite for an early dinner. It's French/Belgian, and I'd describe it as solid but not great. Compared to other places around that part of town, however, it's good. My croquet monsier was adequate...nice portion of Neuske's ham and gruyere cheese and the side of curried cauliflower and chickpeas... More

Wow! What a big selection of craft brews from all over the US and abroad. The food was delicious, particularly the wild caught halibut. We tried 4-5 different beers and all were wonderful. Definitely will come back to this one.!

Awesome food! I had a croque monsieur with truffle fries. Awesome Creme Brulée for dessert. Nobody checked on us after we got ourfood, and I had to get up and ask for the egg that I ordered to be put on my sandwich. Our water was never refilled, and then I had to get up and ask for someone to... More

We had a wonderful dinner here after helping our son move. The beer list is amazing, the food was delicious and the service was great. Couldn't have asked for a better dinner experience.

One of the best beer lists of any restaurant, anywhere. Plus decent Belgian-style food with some good local Wisconsin ingredient choices. I have always had a good meal and a good drink when I am here. The only downside is it can get loud and crowded, and reservations aren't available.

Have been here multiple occasions and never fail go get a great beer and meal. I especially enjoy the mussels (Moules et frites) and the duck club. As far as beer the menu is impressive and 9 times of 10 the bartender will give you a solid recommendation.

I stayed at a local hotel and was lucky enough to be right down the street from Brasserie V. I called the restaurant after 9pm (since my Lake Loop ended up taking longer than expected). The hostess assured me that yes, they were still serving dinner and yes, my athletic wear is totally appropriate. I walked in and sat at... More

Stopped for lunch as we were in the area. Fabulous beer selections. I had the smoked turkey sandwich; other half had a burger. Both were unique and excellent. Service was good too.

Came to Madison for a birthday getaway and my wife found this place on Trip Advisor. What a find! Two of the best sandwiches we've had in a long time. I had the smoked turkey and she had the Avacodo BLT. Absolutely delicious!!! Beer was good, waitress (Kristi) was great. A must stop especially if your by the Henry Vilas... More

We stopped for a beer and a sandwich on a Saturday for lunch and were very pleased with the choice. There is a great and affordable lunch menu of 1/2 sandwich and side that was perfect. The beer menu is huge and service was efficient and polite.
