We went to this restaurant just this past weekend and were blown away. Everything from their craft cocktails to their chilled grand seafood platter was spectacular. Don't even get me started on the steaks, plus the pop over rolls that were served. WOW WOW WOW

Amazing food and impeccable service. Arguably the fanciest restaurant in Madison. n Prices are extremely high-- this is a special occasion place, but worth the splurge

I have lived in Madison for 5 years now, and Rare is hands down the best restaurant I have been to. The service is exceptional and the food is even better. The lobster bisque is a signature dish that can’t be beat. I have eaten...More

Went for “Overture Center Special Menu”. Time was a factor. Waiter insisted on reviewing whole menu. For us atmosphere was a bit “stuffy”. Food tasty, steak cooked perfectly, asparagus flavorful with some crunch.

The dining room was reserved, but we were able to get a very nice table in the bar near the windows. Steak was fabulous as was the Bruschetta appetizer. We were celebrating a birthday and it was quite nice! It is a little pricey, but...More

Jeans and a collared shirt is fine. No dress code. But business casual if typical.
