My wife & I wanted to avoid Valentine's Day dinner crowds while we were staying on the east side of Madison, so we agreed to try Happy Wok @ Eastpark. Pretty standard Chinese takeout & dine-in business (with drive-thru & delivery), in what appears to...be a converted fast food building that the current occupants keep remarkably clean & pleasantly decorated. The young order takers & food handling staff at the front counter were all very friendly and customer-focused, and our two daily special dinner orders (cashew chicken, and bourbon chicken prepared similarly to orange chicken) featured very large servings with good flavor. My wife also enjoyed her crab rangoon, while my egg roll was well prepared but just average in taste. Nothing fancy @ Happy Wok, but plenty of food for two people to split & even have leftovers. We usually opt for the home delivery service which is pretty good, delivery is always on time and staff is also cool. Quantity wise good, quality wise decent and the price is fair. Good place to try out if you just aren’t in the mood...to cook and want to have something nice! 🙂More

We are in Madison for a conference and I saw the Happy Wok as we drove by. We went there for supper. The food was great! The service was efficient and friendly! I wish there was one near Holmen, WI. I would eat there often.

Nice place for takeout. I love the orange chicken and always get it extra spicy. Never a problem; they are happy to made additions or substitutions. Love their teriyaki chicken skewers. You can make a meal on just their appetizers. Dining inside is pretty boring;...but take out is always fast and hot. And if you can't get away; their delivery service is wonderful.More

A good option for carryout Chinese. Usually order a few appetizers and a small entree when in the area for business - good food at good prices.

The crab Rangoon has never disappointed. Love the bourbon chicken too. I get this delivered to my work frequently a d it's very fast and always an accurate order.

Good food at a good price. I would recommend the pork fried rice over any of the other rice dishes. Good to try the sweet and sour chicken as well.

We ran into this place when staying in a close-by hotel. Using our Garmin GPS and the mobile, we located this restaurant after calling Flaming Wok concerning their dine-in option. The short but rude answer from Flaming Wok definitely meant they don't need more business....So we decided to try the next on our list. Happy Wok has a standalone location close by a car wash. It even has a drive-through window and the entire design resembles a fast food restaurant like McDonald, definitely not a typical Chinese restaurant layout. Our expectation was not high and we ordered some common dishes like Chicken Lo Mein, Moo Goo Gai Pan and Vegetable Delights. However we found their preparation surprisingly good. Unlike some Chinese fast food joints like Panda Express, their food was not prepared ahead of time and kept warm waiting for customers. Happy Work made to order with apparently many cooks in the kitchen. If you are around the area and hungry for some better-than-average Chinese fast food, pay this place a visit and you will be delighted.More

Very close to my hotel. The lunch General Tso's chicken and plain fried rice was very good and a good value. Food prepared fresh and was pretty quick.

We drive almost 40 mins one way for this place!! It is so good. So many options, the food is always fresh and hot. They have always changed up the orders to our request/liking. We have never waited long for our take out food. Friendly...staff, they even offered a free soda while we waited since it was taking longer than usually. We ended up waiting less than 15 mins :) We get our usual items, but Saturday I did try a new dish! It was so good, full of flavor and wasn't greasy tasting. The food tastes here are just nothing we have had from other take out places. Definitely have a good thing here! Highly recommendMore

Found this on googles food near me. Ordered online, a first for me. Food came with 15mins!!! Was very hot and smelled great. Website was super easy and quick. FYI must be at least $10. Food was awesome. Garlic chicken, wantons, and ragoon. Great tasting...and hot food and way too much for two people. Fat and happy now.
