Pizza Di Roma reminds me of a lot of the small pizza joints where I grew up in New Jersey. Slices always available, reliable quality. It's not gourmet or Food Network TV show worthy, just a pizza joint. Best part? Ever since Casa Bianca closed, this is the only casual place that still makes good Italian sausage parmesan subs. Worth... More

And I've tried them all! This is seriously some NY style pizza. Grab a slice, fold it in half lengthwise and eat it walking along State Street like a true New Yorker. So good.

I was working in town and found one of their menus in a book. After drooling over the menu for two days I finally ordered a couple of pies for take out. One Caprese and one with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and green olives. Both were amazing with the Caprese being the overall favorite, once everyone got done taking pictures of... More

I miss NYC's pizza by the slice. Rarely can a pizza compare to those NYC slices in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx or Queens. However, Pizza Di Roma on State Street in Madison, despite being inconsistent at times, is a close approximation when they're clicking on all cylinders. When they're on the ball, the 'just cheese' slice is almost as good as... More

Hot and yummy was my cheesy veggie big Pizza slice washed down with an ice cold Miller Lite bottle of beer, all enjoyed while people watching as I sat in the outdoor eating patio area on State Street

Pizza Di Roma is a great place for a slice. Lots of different pizzas for you to choose from. Crust is great and the toppings are generous. Lots of college kids like to come here at bar time too.

This place may look run down, but seriously give it a chance because the food is amazing!! Pizza is out on the trays so you can decide what you'd like. Once you've made your decision they put it back in the brick oven style cooker. The pieces are literally as big as your face and SO delicious!! The staff is... More

Really good mushrooms, very fresh pizza! Highly recommended. The service is very friendly and the pizza was filling but not too much food

Great mix of all types of toppings and slices. Add a few garlic rolls with marinara sauce and you are going to have a great pizzeria experience. It been about four years since I ate at Pizza Di Roma and it is just as good as I remembered.
