Excellent, spicy cajun food for take out cooked by people who know NOLA food. Fairly priced and well packed and presented. Yum!

Close but no cigar. Everything on the menu was perfect. Having been to New Orleans on business trips I had certain expectations. I took a friend to New Orleans Take Out based on it's reputation and food type. I had a po boy and the bread was stale. Nuf said. My guest had the special of the day and it... More

This is by far the best New Orleans food I've had in Madison. After vacationing in New Orleans a year ago, I did not think I would be able to get that kind of flavor here. Absolutely love this place.

True N.O. flavors and they don't skimp on the heat. The fish and seafood are amazing despite being in the middle of the continent. I go back every time I'm in Madison and I dream about this place in between.

Awesome food, shrimp and fish taste incredibly fresh. All cooked to order. I've been there a million times, I'd recommend the shrimp po'boy with creole sauce, or the blackened catfish, or deb's shrimp.. really anything there is great.

Every time we come back to Madison, we make a point to go to NOTO. The food is always excellent and I would much rather get take-out here than go to some of the other overpriced pseudo-Cajun restaurants that come and go. The food is always excellent and you can't beat the prices.

I'm not going to comment about the atmosphere, because it is a take out joint. We ordered the special of the day, which was a ham, sausage and chicken jambalaya. The portion was a good size, but it was mostly rice. Hardly any seasoning at all, rather bland. Chicken and ham were both very dry, sausage was tasty, though. Would... More

Wow! This is a little gem of a take out shop right next to the Hotel Red across from Camp Randall stadium (there is some indoor seating on a table along the wall.) I just had the hottest crawfish étouffée I ever had- no hot sauce needed and not for the faint of heart. I got a half order along... More
