Located right on Main St. Chips and salsa came out promptly and tasted fresh. House margaritas were delicious. We ordered bacon wrapped jalapeño rellenos as an appetizer. They were delicious but very spicy! From the lunch menu we ordered carne asada and combo enchilada/burrito. Both came with rice and beans. Food was good, carne asada was tender, portions were good.... More

We are from Houston tx, so Mexican food is well known to us. El Burro surpassed our expectations, on service and quality. Our friend knew the owner who welcomed us and even sat down for a bit of conversation. Very good food and they even topped off our margaritas with a little something extra ! We got to further experience... More

My Asado Pollo chicken breast was sliced thin & coated with spicy salt seasoning. I found the rice and refried beans to be equally salty!! Good thing I told them no salt on my margarita glass!! I was unable to consume any more than half my meal which is not a good bargain at 11.95 and go away hungry!!

The decor is sweet, the music is typical and characteristic of Mexican restaurants, but the food is great. The service was terrific, people kept glasses full and checked on our satistfaction regularly. We enjoyed it so much we went back and plan to again.

Excellent service! Great salsa! If you're from Texas don't order the guacamole, it has a vinegar flavor...get the Pico instead. There were 4 of us, everyone ord e red something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. It appears to be a family operation, they checked on our table often and we're very accommodating. I'd eat here again! !!

Margaritas were great. Tacos were amazing and so spot on. They also put up with our last minute showing and also many of our requests. Would wish it was open a bit later. But it's Cortez. It is what it is. If you speak Spanish, you're in good. My wife does, but I don't. But they speak English and I... More

We went on a Saturday after a trip to Mesa Verde. Very good food and service. We both got margaritas which were nice as well. Service was really good. They were very attentive and we didn't have to ask for more chips and salsa, they just brought it out. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I shared a seafood dish, it was plentiful and delicious. The margaritas were large and strong. The chips and salsa was yummy. The service was awesome, they were friendly and prompt. We would eat there again.

Seating is comfortable and is a family run restaurant. They start with salsa sauce and tortilla chips on the house and just keep refilling till your oder is served. We tried the soft pork tact. Pancho steak and pollo chippotle. For alcohol related drinks age ID is demanded.

I would only eat here again if I was very hungry and I was walking past the restaurant. Service was okay. The food was okay. (Tacos with marinated beef)

Thank John G
