Stopped here on our way to Four Corners. Had the zucchini fritters and cream of carrot and coconut soup, my kids had burgers. The food is locally sourced, fresh and inventive.

Cortez does not seem to have a huge number of good eating places and after a most unsatisfactory experience in what was supposed to be one of the best we thought that we would try the Farm Bistro. Looking for it you have to be very careful going along Main Street not to miss it as the sign does not... More

If there was a three and a half star rating, I would give it that. Just not quite a four. The concept is great; the decor is fresh and gun; the service is friendly; the menu has a good variety. The problem is that the food was bland. My husband had a yak burger (after all, how often do you... More

The fresh apricot martini was superb, and cheap by big city standards...I had 2. And I don't even much care for flavored martini's - normally I'm traditional with those. Super job. Our food was delicious - fresh salad, perfectly prepared risotto of the day, and a great meat special (short ribs). My husband also enjoyed the local (Dolores) beers. Attentive... More

A good find in Cortez because you get healthy local scrumptious food in a relaxing unpretentious environment. Really good place to go because they support the local food movement and farmers and are savvy about sustainability.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and we were so glad we went there for lunch. When you enter, you pick up a menu and seat yourself. You place your order in the back by the bar where there is a huge blackboard with the specials listed. Service was very casual and friendly - our drinks, soup, and burgers... More

I love apricots and couldn't resist the apricot martini; it was even better than it sounds. I love the casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Our food was delicious!

This was such a find! We walked in ordered the vegetable wantons as a starter. They are simple, well balanced sweet and salty delight. My husband and I shared the lamb meatballs. Oh my! Those were heavenly, wish I took a pic to share. They are topped with a delicate and savory goat cheese. Although everything was splendid, desert concurred... More

This is a small family type restaurant with simple but excellent food. The beef in their burgers is locally sourced; they make their own hamburger buns from flour from a local flour mill. You can even have a glass of Colorado wine with your lunch or dinner! Don't miss the hot rolls they put on the table while you wait... More

We enjoyed our dining experience here. It's a little pricey as are most farm to table restaurants. The service was almost perfect except for a delay in picking up dirty plates. Very different wine list, and they were nice enough to let us try some before purchasing a bottle. The salads were really good and fresh. The Moroccan style lamb... More
