My husband and I were driving through the main drag of Hot Springs and decided we wanted to stop for lunch. Our car actually gave us suggestions for restaurants/food nearby. We decided on Taco Mama and we were glad that we did! We sat outside...on the patio. Other people had brought there dogs with them (which we plan to do next year). The chips and dip were hot and fresh! The taco, chicken enchilada, and chimichanga were the best we have ever had. Lots of food on your plate too! We will definitely return to Taco Mama next year when we return to Arkansas. Highly recommended.More

Hands down the worst customer service ever. Waited 20 minutes for my waitress to acknowledge my existence and it didn’t happen. After I found the manager and complained she said “I was going to come to you after I finished what I was doing.” As...if I’m a mind reader. Feel like she could have communicated with me if she was busy or ask someone else to bring chips and salsa or anything would have been nice but seriously they weren’t that busy especially now the tables are half as full as normal. Very rude. She passed by atleast a dozens times and nothing.More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, creative menu, and excellent customer service! Everything was so well done, we prefer this restaurant over any we have ever visited (even in Mexico).

With COVID-19 spiking again, my husband and I were hesitant about eating in a restaurant, so we went here SUPER early for dinner. The dining area was empty but the phones were ringing off the hook. We were greeted, seated and had drinks super fast....The chips and salsa were incredible and so were the drinks we ordered. I had a Champagne Margarita and my husband had the Purple Haze. Then the food came. Omg. The puffy tacos were insane and the chimichanga was incredible!! What surprised us the most was how beautifully everything was plated. We felt like we were eating in a 4 or 5 star restaurant! I had enough sense to get a picture of our dessert (Tequila Lime Pie) which was equally stunning. EVERYTHING about this restaurant was top notch. Do yourself a favor and make eating here a priority!More

In from out of town & stopped in for a late lunch based on the positive reviews on TA. We loved it! Our service was great & loved the variety of items on their menu. I ordered the combo plate with beef sopa ( loved...the corn meal bottom) & chicken fajita enchilada. It came with beans & delicious cilantro lime rice. It was all delicious! Others in our party ordered chalupas, puffy tacos & chimichangas- everyone was very pleased with their food. Salsa was great & sangria swirl very tasty. If you want a satisfying great tasting meal- eat here!More

It was our first night ever in Hot Springs. Another place couldn’t seat us, so we came here. Are we glad we did! The service was quick and helpful, and the food was delicious! I got the salad bowl recommended by our server Taylor (the...manager). Fantastic and had enough for dinner the next night! My wife loved her fish tacos, and both my wife and daughter ordered to-go for the next night! Salsa was great too! It is a must visit!!More

As a Texas native visiting the hot springs I didn’t think to have any high expectations for authentic Mexican food nearby but that turned around when we met Shane. He and his wife Diana own Taco Mama and let me say it was one of...the most delicious meals I have had. From their chips and salsa to the chilaquiles, fish tacos and sopes even their cheesecake chimichanga. Everything was tasty and we had the friendliest service. We felt right at home and it was thanks to running into Shane at the national park and he so graciously gave us directions toward the observatory. It was awesome to support a local business that got started by a loving and caring family. If you’re looking for some food Mexican food I highly recommend Taco Mama!More

The place is little to chilly for my taste, so I asked the waitress if I could eat outside on the patio. She was very sweet and accommodating. I had the puffy tacos with carnitas. They were amazingly good, and the cilantro lime rice was...a wonderful addition to the dish. Salsa is out of this world 🌎, wish I could say the same for the chips. 😟More

Best enchiladas I’ve EVER eaten. The steak salad is pretty awesome too. Love their lunch combos. Margs are delicious! Especially like the Beer-Rita. 🍹🍺

We love trying local places and this was no disappointment! The place is fun! Local musicians on Friday nights. Their homemade salsa is delicious. The food is SO SO good. I love it when you find a place and its over the top good. I...don't give many 5 stars but this place gets it. Qe had carnita tacos, seafood nachos and beef nachos. Yum all the way! Prices are $$. Service was great. The dinning room was very cold...my only complaint! Our new Mexican fav restaurant.More
