Great meal

We arrived just after opening on a Tuesday, so it wasn't crowded, but we had been told it could get very busy so we went early. Two of us had steaks, two had the nightly special (savory beef tips over mashed potatoes). All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The wait staff were great, atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend this place just outside of Hot Springs Village.

Best Steak & Best Folks!

We met up with some friends from Texas in Hot Springs Village to visit a few days. We came across Blue Springs Grill and tried it out for dinner. It was superb! Friendly and the food was tremendous. I had their pork chop. My wife had a salad with salmon and the homemade cobbler we had for dessert was the best. It was made while we ate our dinner and served in a mini iron skillet out of the oven. We went back with our friends the next night and tried their steaks. I love steak and this was one of the best ones I've had. I've eaten at Ruth's Chris, 3 Forks and a few other well known steak houses but Blue Springs Grill's was as good if not better than any of those. We highly recommend Blue Springs Grill. Go see Ryan and the crew there. You will not be disappointed nor will you leave hungry.

Good food.

We walked into the restaurant 15 minutes before closing as we had no idea they closed at that time. The staff were most agreeable to seating us as there was a large party still in the restaurant. Our waiter was helpful and a pretty funny guy. He recommended the scalloped potatoes to the point that my wife thought the kitchen was just trying to get rid of them. Well, they were fantastic. The collard greens were very good. The crab cakes are very good. This was a wonderful find with good food and good people.

Well today meal at the Blue Grill was not good at all. Been there many time which was ok. Today my food tasted bad. Chicken fried steak was very grease and had a sour taste. It hard to tell what was wrong but it was very bad. The little girl did not care to ask about the quality of the food but I paid and left. Will not return at time soon. Rices are too high for the quality of food. Cold rolls, mashed potatoes were also cold. Sorry, the cook needs better training on quality products.

Salmon and Crab Cakes - yum

Truly enjoyed the salmon and the crab cakes. Was advised to also try the skillet cobbler that is made to order in a small cast iron skillet. It was very good but not the best I've ever had. However, I would still recommend trying it.... just beware that it is large and 2-3 people can easily share it after eating a large meal just before it.

Amazing Steaks

We have been to Blue Springs 4 times since mid August and we can now say we have found a great restaurant close to where we live ( Hot Springs Village). Nice wood interior and very pleasant atmosphere. I have had the NY strip, the 12 oz. ribeye twice, and the chicken fried steak. They were all about the best, most flavorful steaks I heave ever had..sorry 501 Prime..better than your ribeye..which is excellent. The big difference is the cost...when I can get a great steak for under $30, I am hooked. My wife also loves the pork chop and the french onion soup. And the signature cobblers are worth getting extra full for...sooo good. Wait staff is super. What I cant figure out is why this place isnt rated #1. We have brought 7 out of towners with us at various times and they all loved it too.

Get the ribeye, consider the cobbler.

Everything is good but their ribeye steak is the thing to go for. The guy on the grill knows what he is doing. I have a hard time trying anything else because the ribeye is so good. They do a cobbler in a skillet that is pretty popular you have to order when you order your meal. It is worth trying if you like that kind of thing since it is not your everyday dessert. Lots of people rave over it. I only want it when I am in the mood for blackberry cobbler and have to share it because I am always full. Good service. Good rustic ambiance in an out of the way location.

Great Food

I have visited this restaurant two times. One time ordered a rib eye with mashed potatoes and spinach. The second time grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and spinach. Love it here! The quality of the food, the service and the relax atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and portions are good. I will be back soon.

Great again

Ribeye. Always good. Best steak I have had in some time. French onion soup was good but small. Friends had large salad they said was good. Another had shrimp and crabcakes they said were delicious. Peach cobbler served in skillet for dessert was good. AJ, our server, did a great job.

You Need To Try This Hidden Gem

Best steaks in the Village

It had been a while since we ate at the Blue Springs Grill, so we went on Friday night. Try the Ouachita Sunset (cocktail) very nice drink. And the steaks are still very good, and reasonably priced.

Better have plenty of time.

We were in the area and stopped for supper. After being quickly seated, we waited almost ten minutes before the waitress came and ask if we had been waited on. Since we had so much time before the waitress got there, we already had decided what we wanted to eat. We ordered our food and drinks the waited several more minutes before the drinks arrived. It was then over a half hour before our food arrived. The food was very good which kept the review from be terrible. If you don't have a lot of time, I would suggest driving right on down the road and avoiding this restaurant. However, if you are not in a hurry, then give this restaurant a try.
