Our first visit. Waitress was new but very sweet. We were trying to decide between the garlic shrimp and the Devil's shrimp. The garlic shrimp 16.49 wasn't offered on the lunch menu, so we both ordered the Devil's shrimp 10.99. Kitchen staff brings out the...plates and declares garlic shrimp. I immediately said we ordered the Devil's shrimp. He commented that the ticket says garlic shrimp and then took them back. 5-6 minutes later our waitress brings out what seems to be the same plates and declares it is Devil's shrimp. We're really hungry and we eat. The only difference between the 2 dishes is the garlic shrimp has a garlic cream sauce and plain cheese. The devil' shrimp has chipotle butter sauce and pepper jack cheese. There was no color or spice that one would expect with chipotle and the cheese definitely was not pepper jack. Pretty sure the kitchen gave our waitress the same plate and told her it was the devil's shrimp. Being new, she probably had no clue. I am a restaurant owner and developed all of our recipes. Know a little bit about chipotle because we use it a lot! That being said, we enjoyed the meal, it just wasn't what we ordered. And we paid 11.00 more for lunch because the ticket was rang up as the dinner item garlic shrimp and our waitress apparently didn't know what we ordered was on the lunch menu. We will go back. Just want the owner to know that this might happen to others.More
Decided on dinner here not knowing where to eat dinner in Hot Springs. We are from Houston , TX and love TexMex. We were pleasantly surprised with our entrees of Devil's Shrimp. Also ordered 'avocado dip', their name for guacamole. It was delicious-like back at home!
I am a margarita lover. In my hometown in missouri I thought I had already had the best margarita of my life... I was wrong! I ordered a strawberry margarita and it was amazing!! The cheese dip was also amazing!
One of the worst Mexican meals I have ever had. Service was bad and slow. Menus were dirty. Cheese enchiladas were small and nasty and tasted like they squirted a bunch of cheez whiz in to some old tortillas. Their signature ice cream dish with...fried corn tortilla tasted like it had been in the freezer for 3 weeks. Bathroom was filthy. Entire place is a mass don't go there. Don't believe the fake positive reviews!More
In walking distance from the 1890 Williams House, the food was seasoned very well and its plentiful(you will have left overs) and the drinks are strong especially "The Boss" they recommend on the rocks but we got frozen and it was delicious. Definitely worth your...money and it wasn't that expensive.More
Came in for lunch with my family and my parents. Had some queso as an app and it was good. Ordered the chimichanga, Sonora queda and kids beef taco. All the food was really tasty. They had Dos XX Amber on tap so we had...to get one. The server was friendly and took great care of us. Social distancing in effect. Huge open space in two rooms, TVs all over the walls and a huge bar. And don’t read the post about this prior to mine....obviously they were a Karen or a Chad and felt offended by the mask sign. Plenty of people of all races eating lunch there while we were there.More
