This is a local place, with a mixture of local people and tourists. The breakfast choices were extensive and came out hot and quickly. The waitress was a little confused by our large family order, but was cheerful and accomodating in swapping things out. Coffee is good. Pancakes are dense and delicious.

Where do I start. Fresh squeezed orange juice and locally sourced sausage sets this place apart. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the plate size pancakes can't be beat. Our waitress suggested cutting a hole in the center of the pancake so the excess hot maple syrup would have a place to settle. Go early to avoid a long wait... More

It's like going back in time with the clean original black & white tile & marquee outside and original eat-up counter & round red stools from a bygone era. There are tables in the rest of the restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting along with the lovely accommodating people who work at The Pancake Shop. The food is authentic,... More

Went here for breakfast on Sunday morning 9ish. They were busy but not full. We had seen great reviews and a line on Saturday. Not sure why. Frozen blueberries, deep fried greasy french toast (yes deep fried french toast and not in a good way, in a oil too old and not nearly hot enough way) undercooked pancakes that were... More

We visited late on a Sunday morning. The meal was incredible and totally worth the approx 40 minute wait. We were especially impressed with the pancakes (and rightfully so!) and the homemade sausage patties. Even the toast is great! I'd recommend this and will definitely return on our next trip to Hot Springs.

If you're ever visiting Hot Springs Arkansas the Pancake Shop across the street from the Arlington Hotel is by far "the best" place to go if you want excellent melt-in-your-mouth banana pancakes served by one of the best waiters in town Robert.
