They smoke all their food, their bbq ribs fall right off the bone. They are amazing!! Not to mention the prompt service, and smiling faces!

I loved the brisket! The bathrooms are small but it was a couple of older buildings that were renovated.

This restaurant is wonderful. They catered my sons rehearsal dinner. The pulled pork and sweet potato tots are so delicious. The service is A-1 as well!

We enjoyed sitting outside on the covered porch where it wasn't smokey smelling. My husband like the barbecue brisket sandwich very much. Loved the sauce! I ordered the Reuben sandwich and was disappointed because even though the meat was tasty and moist I had to take it all out and cut it up before putting it back in the sandwich.... More

We made a special trip to this restaurant from Tippin,Ohio. We passed thru Hocking Hills on vacation they were completely full for lodging. Two years ago we stopped at The Old Canal Smokehouse. Very good then, same now. Great rib sauce and service was excellent as expected.

This is the 2nd time my husband and I have stopped here on our drive from Beckley, WV to our home south of Joliet, IL. The food is great and priced reasonably. The historic building is beautiful. We chose to eat outside on the porch this time. Our server was cheerful and not overly attentive. I had the brisket and... More

I RARELY give a rave review of a restaurant. But I have to say our late evening meal was pretty dang good. My husband had the Brisket, sweet potato tots, a salad. I had the ribs and brisket combo with smaked mashed potatoes and green beans almondine. Both came with corn bread. The brisket was so tender- only needed a... More

We ate here twice during our visit to Cillicothe. Both times the food was great and our waitresses were both friendly and attentive. The brisket and pulled pork were delicious. The potato salad was outstanding. It was so pleasant sitting on the covered patio. I wish we lived closer so we could eat here often.

Hotel staff recommended this locally owned restaurant in Chillicothe. Definitely worth the 10 minute drive from the highway! Ordered two different combo platters and 4 different sides...pulled pork was excellent and the smoked chicken was tasty. Macaroni and cheese was very good and the potato salad had a sour cream base. Beans were nothing special but OK. Cornbread was also... More
