Well what a disappointment, we read about this place in the lonely planet. But Barbara has moved on it seems and now the place has gone down. The food was boring, toiletroom not clean and nothing there to wash your hands afterwards. What happened to Barbara s place? Not worth going there.

We only ate here, didn't stay in the hostel. Title pretty much says it all. The food was good quality and tasted great, but both of us were still hungry afterwards. For the price we paid I would certainly expect more than 1 piece of bacon and 1 slice French toast. We also tried to rent scooters here, but the... More

Had lunch here, had the pasta pesto with chicken and got a big amount of tasty food for a fair price. The owner helped me get a motorbike back to my hostel also.

This place written up at length in lonely planet has definitely seen better days, they are basically trading on the fact they have an overpriced english menu. The woman who served us looked like she hadn't had a pleasant day in years consequently the place was almost always empty. (we were in a hotel next door) as a kiwi i... More

Called in for several times for a beer, hired cycles and ate a couple of times too. Very friendly people and the food we had was very good. Suited us when we just wanted something easy.............Worth trying we think!

I ended up staying at this joint for 3 nights. Would definitely recommend for budget travelling, 5 dollars for air con dorm, as it seems to be the only budget option in town where you'll get a bit of travel advice etc in English . Be warned tho, I'm 187cm and bed slightly short. As others have said it's the... More

This is a terrific find. Been in Vietnam 2 1/2 months and am so relieved to find such friendly, helpful and kind people in Phuoc and Loan as hosts. Great dinner - western menu as an alternative to the otherwise enjoyable Vietnamese fare available everywhere. Very cold beer!!!!! (Sadly lacking elsewhere in VN. Sadly didn't meet Barbara who is now... More

This is one of the few backpackers cafes in QN and caters for the budget traveller. Although it is not really cheap.... Plenty of toasted sandwiches etc... but local cuisine is a bit ordinary. The lane 30 metres south offers a whole range of fresh, cheap eats...

Went here for dinner mainly because we wanted transport info so thought we'd kill two birds and all that. Food was average, chicken pesto pasta okay, Chili con carne weird, way too much cinnamon. Pizza extortionate at 150,000 VND. Other dishes maximum of 90,000 VND. We asked about bus to Hoi An, a 4 hour journey. Was told either 250,000... More
