My wife and I chose this place late at night (9pm-ish). Not many other places were open in 'downtown' Nuwara Eliya. The service was offhand and there was no wifi - checked twice. Tables were clean, just. Food was OK but overall we left feeling they really weren't that keen on late night diners. Not recommended.

This is famous restaurant in Nuwaraeliya town which is always busy. Quality of the food is okay but the service is not that good. Interior is very old and ambiance is dull.

We ordered local food (chicken curry, grilled chicken, etc.), which didn't taste at all. No herbs or spices and the meat was unbelievably dry and chewy. The location (eating room 1st floor) was not inviting, the toilets disgusting. Despite the low prices very disappointing!

Had lunch in this restaurant with family. Everything expensive. Don't talk about hygiene and quality. Wonder how they are still in the business.

This was by far the worst restaurant we've eaten at in Sri Lanka (hell, in life!). The service is uninterested and not very friendly and the food is not eatable, at least what we had. It was some kind of beef with vegetables but it was completely chewy and tasteless. Maybe it was a mistake to try beef and not... More

Lunch is perfect here especially for average Indian food. The space quite constraint and insufficient toilets facilities. The ambient quite gloomy but who cares when the food are marvellous. It is located in the busy market area hence can be quite crowded with patrons. Hence is a good place to mingle with the local people.

Stopped off and picked to eat at Milano. The food was beautiful, great choice on the menu. You can ask for what you want and how spicy you want it. It was quick service, clean and friendly. One of the best meals I had in Sri Lanka!

We were led to this restaurant by our driver cum guide as we wished to have a taste of authentic srilankan curry and rice. The rice and curry was quite ok , but the chicken fry which was served with the biryani was Stone cold and pretty hard. What made the experience horrible was the unhygenic practice of putting back...
