Some guy was eating a booger as we walked in. Looked at menu. $7-8 for a single with cheese. We decided to leave and go to hiboy across the street. So I don't know what to rate it.

Let me start with a confession: I'm a bit of a chili snob! I've actually won awards for my chili. I've been wanting to try Dixon's for a long time, so me and the family finally went. We've been twice now. Their chili is so addictive! The cheese is a combination of cheddar and swiss and is freaking amazing. The... More

Staying just down the road in an RV. I read all the reviews and had to try it. T had a foot long chili dog and loved it! He's already planning a return trip! I had the regular chili with beans (soupy). Not the chili I'm used to, but after putting all my fixings on, I was pleasantly surprised. I... More

this place has great chili. be sure to look out for yourself in the neighborhood it is OK as long as you take normal cautions like don't go flashing your money, or other valuables around. the place is clean and the food is great. I recommend the chili.

I love Dixon's Chili. We started going when we moved to KC almost 20 years ago. They cook the beans and meat separate so you can have your chili how you want it. It can be soupy of a little greasy if you like. I have had it with tamales and with spaghetti and I love it all. In fact... More

Kansas City is known for the BBQ obviously, but the chili I had blew away any of it. To be specific it was the meat and beans with the grease, and all of the fixings. It was great. Get the regular size unless you have a large appetite as it was enough. This place is highly recommended.

Was driving in the area today and had that craving for the "Taco Special" at Dixon's. Fresh all you can eat beef taco's. They have their own spicy vinegar that put's their taco's into a class of their own. Drink and all you can eat taco's $12 - Give it a try!
