A group of 9 and didn't have any problems sitting together. Food service gloves provided for the buffet. The food had flavor and kept hot. The staff didn't appear to be concerned about the plates stacking up on almost every table and forget asking for something extra. I didn't see the price posted anywhere and didn't know the drinks were extra until going to the cashier. The women's restroom was a mess. We all agreed that we wouldn't come back.

Good price and very ordinary food. Waitresses were nice and responsive when someone at our table spilled a drink.

For its lunch price of $5.99 and dinner at $8.49, this is indeed the lowest price in town for a Chinese buffet. Added to that, they offer a 10% lunch buffet or 15% dinner buffet coupon that you can get from your Valumail coupon magazine. They have your typical Chinese menu that is available to most buffet places,including hibachi grill and sushi. Their ice cream is not the soft serve type, but the regularity cream.
Their staff are friendly and attentive, picking up your used plates at a timely fashion and refilling your drinks.
However, they do not offer senior discounts like most places do.

Me and my kids came to visit we were treated very nicely the staff were sweet and kind and patient with us. The food was hot and replenished often and this was on a slow day maybe 10 people total in the business. Every area was filled and available.

The food was old and cold! The parking lot is full of holes. The management doesn't seem to care about either of the two issues. Cold products will eventually make someone very sick.

Do not go if you have had Bariatric surgery. They make no accommodations for reduced price. I tried to get 2 pieces of sushi & old lady harassed me saying costs more....the food is mediocre at best. To go, Buy all cooked shrimp, probably your Best Buy. Pro-tip: There is no good Chinese buffet in Independence since East Buffet went out of business.

We went to Lucky at 3 today and the food was fantastic! You never know when you walk into a buffet between lunch and dinner, and to our surprise we “lucked” out. Prices were great too!

We stopped in for lunch on Saturday 5/23/15. When we got food from the buffet line 1st most of the food did not match the name cards above the items but not a real big deal. The first plate of food I got most of the food was not very warm at first I thought maybe this had been setting for a while. The next I got some food that they worker put out while I stood there and it was the same way not hot. The taste of the food was not great I have had worst but this is not something I would come back for. The condition of the place I would say it has been a long time since it was really cleaned. We set next to a window and it had a blind that look like it had small bugs smashed in it and between it and the windows were full of cobwebs. The floor under our table was scummy with dirt and jello that had harden to the legs of the table. The restrooms were just as bad kept. I hate to imagine what the kitchen looked like. I have to say yes I feel Lucky not to have food poisoning after Buffet.

My husband and I landed at this place one night when we were out and about and feeling broke. The buffet is around $7 at night. Once upon a time it was a Costello's greenhouse, I'm thinking (like 3 decades ago). It's old. It's definitely a hole in the wall. I was very nervous entering it--we DON'T need food poisoning. But hubby must have had a sixth sense.
The food is actually very tasty. I'm not picky at all and my taste buds aren't as keen as my husband's. But even I distinguished really good flavoring--it didn't all taste alike, like most Chinese buffets. It has the same offerings but they seemed tastier. The variety is good and more than it seemed at first glance. The servers couldn't be nicer. You're not paying for ambiance at this place. If you can get beyond the well-used booth seats, the food is good and 30% less than most chinese buffets.
I still kind of cringe at the appearance when we enter, but I forget that as soon as I start eating.
