We had a fantastic night here. The food tasted very authentic and extremely delicious. I will definitely be back, thank you.
The guacamole was so bad the most disgusting thing in my life you should just close the whole thing and its not cheap at all 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮
We wanted Mexican and this was close to our hotel in Legian so decided to give it a try after reading reviews. My children did the Taco challenge and finished three tacos in 30 Min so received free ice cream 🍦😉 I had the adult...Tacos, hubby had the burrito and we were defiantly full! The Sangria was fruity and it was a lovely family dinner.More
We are frequent visitors to the Legian region, and try to ‘spread the love’ when we are here by trying different eating venues. A recent night out at Holy Guacamole was very different to our last ( 2 years ago) as the food was so...bland and had very little zest or ‘spice’. This place now cannot be compared to other Mexican places in Kuta or Seminyak as they have really dropped their quality. Sadly: I must say that many places we have eaten at this year are the same though......changing their recipes to suit bland western palates maybe?!?More
I came to Bali with 11 people and we came here almost every night for dinner and lunch. Everyone loved each food they ordered
After reading reviews here, we thought that we would give Holy Guacamole a go. Although Ok for the price, nothing we ordered had any heat to it what so ever!! The dips were bland! I ordered the Chilli Con Carne & it was basically mince,...cheese & a dollop of sour cream with a trace of capsicum. Not a bean to be found & absolutely no trace of a chilli ever being near the pot! My wife, however, dislikes anything above 1 on the heat scale, ordered the Mini Chimichanga without sauce & quite enjoyed it. Sorry, but Holy Guacamole is a big fail from my tastebuds.More
Came for taco Twosday and did not leave disappointed. 3 each was well and truly enough... @ $2 aud each it was great value. Great service, friendly staff... will return!
Holy Guacamole was disappointing....food lacked flavour and was a little over priced for the area, considering we were in Bali.. Drinks not very cold.
Very disappointing. The options for people who can not eat really spicy food are none existent. We ordered enchiladas and burritos with mild sauce. They came without any sauce at all so were bland and tasteless. If we were told whilst order that there was...no mild sauce, we could have chosen other items or left. Even the rice was over spicy. I don’t mind spicy food but this was quite overboard. (For medical reasons I need to be very careful with spice levels). I have never had an issue ordering mild versions of sauces in any Mexican restaurant ever, not even in Mexico, until last night. The staff tried to be helpful but as I explained to them, it’s up to the owners and chef to make sure everyone is catered for. Hopefully they will now consider milder options.More
We were a little sceptical about having Mexican in Bali, but hey, no worries here! Plenty of Aussies already inside eating,l and heard good reviews. We shared the big 1kg burrito that you can do for one person as a challenge. It was fresh, delicious...and yes it was filling! Not oily or sauce heavy, just right. We'll be back again before we go home!More
We loved the atmosphere here at Holy Guacamole, and the service was lovely. Between 2 adults and 1 child, we had the kids' chicken and chips, mie goreng, and a burger. Burger was a version of a home made burger, so it could easily be...slapped together in your own kitchen; nothing special about the burger. The mie goreng wasn't very flavoursome, I was hoping for some more punch. My child didn't finish her meal, and when we requested no salad, they still included the salad with her dinner. Also too, I ordered a Sprite, but they didn't open it in front of me. Waitress came out with an open glass bottle of Sprite that had a clear 'ring' around it from severe dust, and when I poured it into a glass it tasted very flat and unfresh. So, don't get the Sprite.More
We ate here with family recently for dinner. With our son taking part in the 1kg El Diablo Burrito challenge. You are given 30mins to finish this meal and also a can of beer. Our son Scott managed to complete in about 13mins! And was...awarded with a certificate and t shirt. Very popular restaurant, with a good choice of meals at reasonable prices. All our meals were very good and of a reasonable size. They were happy to change my meal from strips of beef to minced beef in my beef enchiladas. This restaurant is very close to Garlic Lane and only a short walk to Legian Beach. Staff very friendly, and chatty, all having a laugh and look like they enjoy their jobs. Great to seeMore
We have enjoyed a casual lunch here with my 3 kids on a number of occasions. It is easy, delicious and does excellent gluten free options for my Coeliac daughter. Kids chicken tacos are just exactly as plain and familiar as they like them... two...kids even ordered a second taco! Even the hot chips are GF. Holy Guacamole is not fancy but it is a winner for a casual lunch and some window shopping from a safe distance to the flea market across the road.More
We dined here for a late lunch and also watched the NRL finals . Nice little place .Drinks and meals were reasonably priced . Food was good, felt a little ill when I turned around and seen a big rat walking down the stairs ,...didn’t faze the waitress !!More
