I read the reviews and we decided to give these a try. The ribs were okay. I wouldn't say great. Too little meat on them, like they came from a skinny pig. I don't know how they compare to other ribs in the area but for me it was just average. They were tender and the flavor was good. I... More

Eat at Sang Ria and the Thai restaurant upstairs on four occasions. Both restaurants and the gelato shop have same owners. Excellent food and service. The ribs were amazing and lived up to expectations.

Have eaten at all of the main rib joints in Legian/Seminyak/Kuta - Sang Ria is #1. 125k, huge serve, with delicious potatoes and garlic butter veges. Top it off with a couple of Bintang and it's worth every cent. Great setting, warm hosts and cool shade. Will return!

We were excited to go to this restaurant, but unfortunately it didn't perform especially for the price.... the sautéed mushrooms were nice and the pork ribs were very good we recommend them if you go. (this was the saving grace for this experience for us) The chicken satay main dish was very average. The sate sauce was served cold and... More

Lovely outdoor restaurant set back from the road. Food, service and value all good. Had the ribs - tender and tasty. Drinks cold and service attentive.

Had breakfast here twice, lovely options on the menu and just enough to give variety without confusing you. Lovely shady spot slightly tucked away but made for a quiet and relaxed morning. Staff super friendly and loved entertaining our one year old son!

I Went here for dinner on the 25th and ordered the grilled chicken and my friend ordered the burrito. After about 10 minutes we got the food at the same time and I was surprised to see that I was served a whole chicken breast, told my friend that there is no way you cook a whole chicken breast in... Dear guest. Sorry for your unfortunate experience with us. Our chicken breast is one of our favourite dishes. It can happen that a steak needs a minute or more on the stove. That our waiter toke your chicken to be cook properly we dont see the problem. Dont worry about getting sick as our chicken are fresh everyday from a... More

Saw a group of Aussies make a dash for this restaurant and figured that it must be good. It was. Great attentive service, helpful advice with menu selections. Mixed juice and beer served cold. Started with bruschetta cheese bake and followed with yellow curry (Cambodian style), my wife thoroughly enjoyed her grilled fish. Lovely courtyard setting with extensive Balinese construction... Went with a group on a recent trip to Bali and thoroughly enjoyed the place, the food and the entertainment, couldn't fault anything. Unfortunately went back a couple of nights later and was a bit disappointed, no entertainment, service wasn't that good but the food was still nice - guess it depends who is on shift

The name Sang Ria means the joyful one in Indonesian. We will do everything in our power for you to have a joyful dining experience at Sang Ria. Our signature dish are the baby back pork ribs served with your choice of roast or mash potatoes. Accompanied with a secret home made sauce, salad served with a French balsamic dressing. They claim that there are the best, but we let you be the judge. Our menu will delight you with a good variety of salads, soups, curries, fish, steaks, chicken, pork chop, and much more. We also have a sophisticated vegetarian menu and last but not least our Italian style Teramitsu has raised a few eyebrows.Set in a typical Balinesse garden setting you will enjoy sitting in a open garden listening to classical guitar and the sound of streaming water from our water fall. It would be a honor to have and serve you. S.R management.
