Went for lunch with my wife here as we saw the fresh acvarium with fish and other seafood goodies:). They have got a big variety of sashimi as well a lot of seafood things as I don't know all of them. We tried a few...things as well got a sushi plate which was great, all fresh and tasty. Why I put a 3, it is because of their service: had to wave a few times to place our order I looked into the the eyes of a waiter she felt didn't see us because wasn't her table. The same thing was when we wanted another beer. Just because of the poor service haven't returned back for another Japanese taste.More

We came here after not being allowed beer at the sushi tie restaurant in beach walk. We walked all the way, getting harassed the whole time constantly by taxis and shop owners, kinda ruined the potentially relaxing walking experience. But alas, we made it anyway....They had cold beer! Though they did not have asahi, they did have an inferior Japanese import which was fine, after such an exhausting walk even a bunting would suffice. Finally we ordered an app of nigirisushi. I was shocked, that the first two choices we asked for were hot of stock, it was afternoon time...ok, once we finally got an order they had available, I could see the fish was not fresh and the rice used had no vinegar and was long grain. We had a laugh, finished our beer and left. We’ve decided to move to seminyak. Hopefully will have better luck with food there.More

Great place for fresh sashimi and value for money! Loved that they also had Japanese style floor seating for that extra touch.

We went here based on reviews. We found that the sashimi was better than the rolls. A bit disappointed because the grill food weren't available during lunch, and some of the dish portions were smaller , plus they ran out of coconut - in Bali?!.... It was in a less conspicuous location, but easily walkable from Legian beach.More

I was surprise to see so many Japanese in Bali , all my friends knew how fussy I am ,our business host invited us for welcome dinner at the " Take " it is half hour drive from our Villa , I was surprise I...can find a excellent quality of original Japanese Susi restaurant in Bali ! lovely decor of bamboo setting and very good size dinning room ,very relaxing and casual , the menu is very unique and too much items to choose from ,,we order the baby octopus and the squid ,tastes great also must try the grilled smoked sole ,never see sever any restaurants in N. America , we order the Yoku Zwna (great for 4 people ) ,Wow ,the quality of the seafood is so fresh and delightful to the eyes simply stunning , I can truly say I though I am in Japan ! price range is little expensive ,but you pay what you get ,,I have no problem for excellent fresh seafood , ,staff is very friendly ,it is worth every Rup ,I truly highly recommen it !More

We ate here last night following recommendation from a friend and were quite disappointed with the whole experience. Several nights before we ate at another Japanese restaurant that was wonderful. Here the restaurant looks tired and the staff were not attentive. When we ordered our...entrees and mains were brought out in a mixed way and almost together, some mains before entrees . The sashimi was the best part of our meal and even it was too thickly cut for our taste. The rest of our dishes we found underwhelming and lacked flavour. There are better restaurants to visit and we won’t return.More
