Nasi Campur is great... the eggplant and tempeh soup that accompanies it is yum yum yum. Cheap as and delicious

I have been eating here for years. It used to be good and great value for money. My last visit in May was disappointing, with OK food but shocking service from the surly waitress. However, that was 5 star compared to today's visit. The grumpy cow still served me, more surly than ever. I ordered mie goreng. In 25 years,... More

I was looking forward to eating some good indonesian food. After reading the comments i went to Yogya. The food was overcooked, chicken curry was a soup, coconut sauce was also like a soup.. Fried chicken was maybe ok but how can you ruin deep fried chicken? The place is messy and other people smoke while you're eating. Never going... More

First time here in 1999 great food cheap, clean. Now in 2016 still great food and cheap. Great selection of local food still cooked by same family. If anything the standards have risen. Every time we come to bali we go here several times. Good budget for for all the family

the word is out, unfortunately for us. Started eating here many many years ago, when not many people new about Yogya's. I've heard it been on Postcards Aus as well as Postcards Japan, and now in the Lonely Planet. Oh well, its always worth the wait for good honest local food @ local prices. Mama does the best fried chicken,... More

If you can get a seat here its well worth it. The food is soooo good. Try Mama's fried chicken you can't stop at one! Everything on the menu is worth a try and its so cheap. All types of travellers eat here and the locals too !

We ate here last night it was busy so we had to have a drink around the corner until a table was free. When we did sit down both things that we originally wanted to order had run out, so we both went with second options. The food was really good but we were disappointed that what we wanted was... A small warung on Padma Utara near to good little supermarket and great massage spa (see my other reviews). Popular with locals and ex-pats. Great Indonesian food with super cold drinks. The only interesting factor was the young lady serving reminded one of Basil Fawlty (bothered by pestering customer) combined with Seinfeld Soup Nazi character - great meals but lacking... More
