Wow. I loved every single aspect of this restaurant. In short, this is a casual restaurant where you can have AMAZING food. For entree, I shared bruschetta with my husband. My impression was that this restaurant does honest food. Then I had my favorite pasta dish, vongole cooked with white wine. Sigh.... it was just perfect. My 10 year old... More

Had a wonderful dinner at La Rustica. The beef was great, vegetables fresh and not overlooked, and the house red wine did the trick! All of this in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere! Check them out!

If you are a fan of great Italian then you can do no better than La Rustica's. The restaurant is tucked away just off the main road so you avoid the noise of the traffic chaos, La Rustica's is owned and run by an Italian chef and she does well to live up to the restaurant name recreating every positive... I cannot say the food was great, but considering the inexpensive price, the food was acceptable. I and my family ordered a few kinds, from salad, pizza, spaghetti and lasagna. They were all OK, but not great. Especially the pizza, not enough cheese. The host was friendly. Service was good. Spacious, and plenty of parking space (if you drive in... More

We are on a foodie tour of Bali. Before, restaurants with great reviews only seemed acceptable at best. Rustica is hands-down the best restaurant we have been to in Bali. I would place it in my personal top 5 Italian restaurants I've been to. And I was in Italy for 2 weeks. The pasta is homemade and tastes great. The... More

Found this place in the Bali Bible and thought to myself, Why not! Could it be any better than La-Luccoila on the beach in Seminyak or even beat Café Sardinia. YES, IT DID!!! The mother of the establishment is from Italy and you can tell this when you eat anything from this place. Fresh! Every meal we ate had that... More

We stumbled on this place after we landed in town. Great space and authentic menu but my pizza was mainly tomato paste, hardly any cheese. There was something missing, herbs, garlic or something. I felt they were cutting corners with ingredients. The host was very friendly and couldn't fault the service though.

So as Europeans we have this immediate superiority over what pizza should taste like, and rustics do it pretty well. The stone baked oven gives the dough that nice crispy charcoal dusted touch, and the dough is legit too- with thin bases (how it should be). Although the cheese could be better quality, maybe because dairy products out here can't... More

Description
Home style Italian cooking with everything prepared fresh daily from the best quality produce. Luigina has been lovingly cooking & teaching in Rustica for 7 years after moving to Bali from Italy. The menu covers home made pastas, wood fired oven pizzas & a great range of local & Imported wines. The restaurant is open for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner or just a coffee & home-made cakes or biscotti from Luigina's kitchen.

Cooking Schools are a fun way to learn how to prepare her dishes at home & you can book for a minimum of 6 people & then sit down to enjoy what you have cooked.

Reservations for large groups are appreciated otherwise please come past and eat with our Rustica Family. Home delivery & take-away is also available if pizza by your pool is what you want to do. Rustica is an excellent venue for parties & birthdays where we can cater a menu for your enjoyment.
