Great menu, nice surroundings and fab food. We went for the more Indian/ Sri Lankan food choices here rather than Indonesian and it didn't disappoint. The stuffed naan starter was particularly nice. Also I'm not a pudding person but this place has great puddings for pretty good value. Overall is on the pricier side along with Bambu and Moonlite but... More

Booked a table at this exclusive restaurant, with garden views. Fantastic setting with very attentive and helpful staff. Good wine and cocktail list. Whilst we enjoyed the food, it wasn't quite up to my expectations. The menu appeared dominated by Indian and Thai, we ordered a selection of entrees which were good, mains were again good (rogan josh lamb shank),... More

I cant recommend Sarong enough - at the time it was the best curry and one of the best meals I had ever had and for a snip of the price I'd have to pay back home. Add to that a sensational atmosphere and interior and you HAVE to go if visiting Seminyak

We had a really nice meal at Sarong. The food is unusual and really tasty. The setting is lovely with an open airy feel. The staff could not have been more helpful as a couple of our party just wanted plain fish and rice and they were more than accommodating. It is well worth a visit but it is better... More

We booked a table for two on a stormy night so staff were dealing with bucketing rain and a packed restaurant. They managed very well. Small starters of betel leaf/prawn/ chicken were exceptional, sashimi beautifully fresh, tiny whole squid grilled to perfection. When I doubted that the sorbet was dairy free, an entire new range of sorbet arrived for me... More

My husband and I went to Sarong to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary and I am so glad we did. Although we arrived late for our reservation due to traffic jam in seminyak they were so kind and nice and put us at the best most romantic table In the outdoor dining space. There are only a few tables in... More

Let's be fair. We arrived in a monsoon, which had put the outside tables out of commission; however, we wouldn't have wanted one anyway. Without apology or explanation, we were seated at two sofas where the dining surface was around chin level. The "maitre d'" reminded me of the principal kidnapper in the recent Tom Hanks film - black combat... More

Having been unable to book through the web site we went to the restaurant - an 8.30 reservation was made. A bit later than we wanted but this is a popular place. On arrival we were shown to a low banquette where we were to be served our meal. My husbands eyebrows were just visible. We were informed that despite... More

Thank you for this comment, we are sorry that the beginning of the experience was not to your satisfaction. As suggested to the previous reviewer, who seems to be the couple you refer to we will find out what happened in our debrief, however with the unseasonal downpour last night it could be that the staff were under pressure to... We had such a lovely night here. The setting in the garden was superb and the inside dining areas was so beautifully decorated. Staff were very attentive and helpful. All that and then the food was first class. Not Expensive by Aussie standards . Will be back

Some may say it's on the pricer side and well compared to the rest of Bali yes. But its worth every cent. The Pork Belly was amazing and a great share plate to start, We also had the Salmon salad with fresh watermelon in it (the combinations in this salad were amazing). We then shared the twice cooked duck it... More
