Last time we ordered they called to tell me we were out of what we wanted. This time I payed extra for the kabob platter and extra tzatziki sauce. We didn't get any tzatziki sauce or salad dressing.

The first time I ordered from this place, I did so through one of the many online food-ordering "hubs" that have cropped up. I placed my order and was told that my food should be delivered in about one hour. About 45 minutes into my...wait, I was contacted by the hub and was told that they couldn't get in touch with the restaurant to confirm that my order had been processed. After about 1 1/2 hours waiting, after the hub tried to contact the restaurant again and I tried to contact the restaurant (by phone and via Facebook), I requested that my order be cancelled. The restaurant never responded to my "Are-you-guys-open??" message. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and to believe that the owners had some kind of family emergency that caused them to close shop without having time to leave a voice message on their line. Today I was out doing some errands and thought I'd grab some lunch. I've got a relatively new favorite place for Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food in the area (e.g., kabobs, falafel, etc.) but thought I'd give this place one more try. I called them directly, and they were open. I placed a carryout order and stopped by about 20 minutes later. Here is what I found: The neighborhood is nice enough. It's across from a library and in a growing, suburban area for shopping and eating. Traffic flow can get pretty slow in the area. Parking is not very abundant near the restaurant, unless you want to pay for it (street or garage), so you might have to hunt for a free (or not free) place to park on the street some distance away from the storefront. It's not a sit-down place. Mostly just a counter inside for pickup. The staff were super friendly on the phone and in-person. As for the food, I found it very disappointing, especially when comparing it to another place not far away. For example: a) The large Greek salad had nice quality greens, but the other ingredients (e.g., tomato, green pepper and feta cheese) were in very short supply. I tossed the salad in a bowl before I ate it, and I had to hunt for the other ingredients. For almost $9, I thought that it was a poor value. b) The falafel wrap's fillings were dry and bland. I actually considered throwing it away, but I was very hungry and don't like to waste food. Perhaps some of their other menu items are better. I obviously didn't like what I had. If you are looking for falafel, gyros, stuffed grape leaves and other items within that cuisine category, search for another location, on York Rd,. in Towson, I think you will have better luck there. Sorry for the bad review. The people running the place seemed very nice.More

A gem of a little hole in the wall. I ordered falafel and hummus, seeing them listed separately, and Masoud the owner recommended I get the plate. Delicious - three falafel balls, a scoop of hummus, a lettuce leaf base and yogurt dip. I enjoyed...it so much I returned several days later with my nine year-old daughter, who loved her chicken quesadillas. Masoud is extremely friendly. During lunch several regulars from the offices nearby came in and they all clearly enjoyed chatting with him. He and I talked about his home country of Iran, about the several years he spent in Turkey, and about the joys and struggles of living in the U.S. and running a small business. Definitely head in if you are in the area and want an inexpensive, fast and tasty meal.More
