Located beside the local Walmart, James Kitchen is the area's go to place for Chinese take-out food (they do have a few tables in the store.) They've been there probably a decade, so you know they're doing something right. Their food is freshly made, tasty,...and comes in large portions. We've never had a dish that wasn't plenty for two people. We find even their "hot n spicy" dishes a bit bland, but that's a matter of taste. We'll stay regular customers.More

Super quick service and the food is good! Very large variety and the portions are fair for the price. Flavor was spot on for everything, with the slight exception of the General Tso’s Chicken needing some sort of spice. We will be asking for “extra”...spice next time to see if that helps. The dumplings were delicious with a very savory filling and the traditional sauce. Cheese wontons/crab ragoon was yummy and had a good amount of filling. I was impressed they stayed crisp through our long drive home. The egg-roll was very peppery, which was a pleasant surprise. It also kept its crispness through the trip. Sweet and sour chicken was cooked beautifully and the sauce tasted like what I’m used to. To be honest, my husband loves (Americanized) Chinese food and has been so disappointed in the selection around here. I noticed this place driving by one time and suggested we try it and he was so happy with his meal that he’s already planning our next trip. The only reason there’s a four star instead of five is his disappointment over the non-existent spice in the “spicy” General Tso’s Chicken. Otherwise, fabulous!!!More

We’ve only been here once - but it’s pretty good Chinese!!! And seriously - they have EVERYTHING!!! I mean you can’t think of something that’s not on the menu! We’ll have to try more things but the first two were great! Now it’s not a...fancy place, basically just an order counter with a few tables and a big kitchen in the back. They crank it out pretty fast - it’s a well run, have anything you can imagine and good kind of place!More

If you are looking for some great Chinese Takeout this is the place to go. I think I have tried about every item on the menu and everything is always delicious. Great food and friendly staff. We get takeout here at least once a week...and always enjoy it.More

Always a great time coming here whether it's take out or five in. Crab Rangoon and chicken fried rice is my preferred choice. Great staff. Family owned good people trying to make a decent living.

After shopping, I was hungry saw James Kitchen and decided to give them a try. What I got was surprising. I had ordered Sesame Chicken. The food was quick, fresh and hot. We ate here in January, 2017 and the food was very good and served fast. The restaurant is small inside and very clean. We talked with the owner James and he was very friendly. I ordered a small beef with broccoli over white rice. It...was a full meal. If you are in a hurry and want Chinese in Gulf Breeze give them a try. They have been here for 16 years.More

Chinese food here in America already sucks but this place is a disgrace to Chinese food! The chicken is all fat and the rice is yellow with a weird after taste. I have given this place a few chances and the have failed every time!

Called in to go order. Woman owner is always short when speaking. Doesn't act like she even wants to speak to anyone. Went in to pick up order and she threw my husband's credit card at him. I have been ordering from them for years...only because the food is descent. I won't go there again. If you don't like what you do .....do something else. Life is too short. By the way aren't there laws against using children under 12 to work in a restaurant???More

Parents got this to go. For being a quick service place this wasn't that bad. Deserving of four stars but definitely had better. Family owned and good service also. Will go back.

James Kitchen specializes in real Peking, Sze3chuan, Hunan, and Cantonese cooking. I normally get the combination chicken with mixed vegetables platter for lunch. It comes with an egg roll ( I substitute egg drop soup for the egg roll - delicious!) and pork fried rice....Combination platters run around $8.00.More
