The location is wonderful (great view). The staff is very friendly. They need to evaluate before they try another Easter Brunch. With the crowd of people who were funneled into one area for food, it was just terrible. There was a dessert table set up in another room, without any utensils. I had to request and wait for spoons for my table. (they should have been included in the set-ups). Charged much too much for my four year old granddaughter who eats practically nothing. They ran out of high chairs. This brunch was by reservation only, so they were terribly unprepared. They also ran out of items on the buffet and it took a long time to replenish .

All the lunch items are great. Portions are large. A little pricey for the normal lunch crowd. Lower the prices and the traffic will pickup.

One of the worst expensive dinner meals I have experienced. Food was very salty - filet was too salty to eat - had to send it back. I inquired about how the steak was cooked and it was not prepared the way the server said. It looked like it was fried in a pan or on a flat griddle and not on a gas grill as I was told. Filet was tough, more like a sirloin. Caprese salad was non traditional, very salty and balsamic glaze was not tasty.
Kids meal chicken tenders were too tough to eat, even for an adult.
The creamy lobster pasta that others had was very good - very tasty. If all of the food was that good, I would give 4-stars.
Service/time waiting for meal was a long time for a restaurant that was not crowded at all.

I would like to start by saying our family has always loved going to eat at the Pointe in Gulf Breeze but our recent experience has drastically changed my mind. My son is having a small beach wedding at the end of September and we wanted to find a place for everyone to eat dinner afterwards and thought the beautiful location and variety of food at the Pointe would make a perfect location. I called and spoke with Brittany Bandy and told her we wanted to make a dinner reservation for 36 people. I told her we were not interested in having a reception there as we already have another event space booked and only wanted to eat dinner. Each person would be ordering and paying for their own meal. If possible we would like to bring the cake to have after dinner but it was not completely necessary if we weren't allowed. Brittany said she would email me information and sent me wedding reception information with packages starting at $2500. I called back and again and after several attempts finally reached Brittany and explained that we only wanted to make a dinner reservation for 36 but are not interested in all the extras and would not bring a cake if that was the issue. Brittany then told me if we didn't bring a cake then it should not be a problem but she would email confirmation of the reservation. I never received confirmation so after several more attempts I finally got in touch with Brittany again and she told me they had other large parties wanting reservations in September so she had to make sure no one wanted to schedule a wedding reception before she could confirm our reservation. Our first email contacts began in July and we still do not have confirmation for a dinner reservation. I am utterly disappointed in the level of customer service and feel that if they could not accommodate a reservation for a large dinner party then they should say that instead of asking us to wait until the last minute and possibly have nowhere to take everyone for dinner. Maybe it's my fault and I should've never mentioned the wedding but repeatedly said we only wanted a dinner reservation where everyone ordered and paid for their own meals, no decorations or any other extra staff necessary and would not bring our cake if it meant paying a $2500 event fee. Just very sad and disappointing

I have eaten at The Point a number of times, and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is impressive, the view of the course is a nice backdrop to your meal, or simply enjoying a beverage at the bar. The wait staff and bartenders are spot on in there preparation, delivery, and customer service, second to none. Of course, since it is within Gulf Breeze, it could be a bit pricier than others in the area, but very much worth it. The burgers are generous and tasty.

I had the shrimp and grits, they were amazing. One of us had chicken and sausage gumbo, amazing. German chocolate cake Amazing! Not one bite left on plate. Jericka was our server. She was great and very helpful with selection recommendations on the menu. Highly recommend eating here!

This place is a total mess. Staff doesn't know speciasl and uniformed by management. The food is way over not as good as mcdonalds. The drinks are over prices. The upper management is a sh@t show. Saying they have new management when they don't. Total disappointment. I really feel bad for the staff getting taken advantage of. What a beautiful location. Totally not worth The money. What a shame.

Thank you for our great experience yesterday, May 8th, for our Oasis senior adult ministry from Community Life Church. We had 32 in attendance and the two servers did an amazing job taking care of us!

Monthly Feature burgers are great. Good spot to watch sports on the bar side of the restaurant with lots of TVs for multiple games
