My large family (7 in total) decided to visit Greensboro and grab breakfast downtown at Smith's. On a Saturday morning at 8:00 the place was packed and we had to wait for seat. The diner is small, with no waiting area, so we had to wait outside But it was worth it. The food was great diner breakfast: eggs, bacon,... More

Went there for a second try and was disappointed again, poor service sat there For 10 min and no one came to wait on me. 1st time food was room temp and way crowded and noisy. Place used to be great , must have changed management. Theres Alot beter places togo ,like danny,s.

The biscuits are the biggest I have ever seen. Food was great. Staff were nice and friendly. Great atmosphere.

The biscuit is the size of a softball! But tender & flaky & warm. Pancakes are light, Corned beef hash nicely grilled & eggs done to perfection. New Orleans strength coffee rounded out a perfect breakfast!!

Great breakfast but they wouldn't let me inside out of the heat until my entire party arrived - and it was a very hot day.

Needed a quick bite to eat so we checked to see what was local and this dine came up. We were just about the only people in there and it was so peaceful. The food was incredible! One of the best burgers I have had in a while, also very affordable.

Cool diner in downtown Greensboro. Giant biscuits and pancakes. The service was great and the food was nice and cheap whole family ate for less than $25 and that included bottomless coffee.

I took visiting family there for breakfast. It came highly recommended and we knew about the wait on a Saturday morning . Food was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Don't go there if you want to have a conversation. You have to shout above the other patrons and the very loud wait staff.

I came here with my friends for a late breakfast. I was already impressed upon SEEING the food. Their pancakes are enormous. If you are a pancake person, you need to give this place a try. Just remember that the place can get pretty busy (but I believe other people have mentioned this already).

Ate here twice while in Greensboro. Very generous, southern breakfast. Went on a Saturday and Sunday. Both days there was a wait but they do a good job of getting people seated pretty quickly. Great service
