We went for breakfast, for the first time. The food was amazing!! Probably the best home fries I've ever eaten. The biscuits are 2 inches thick, light, yummy! I can't wait to go back and try lunch and dinner....

Had an absolutely amazing breakfast. Don't go unless you are really hungry. The biscuits are the size of a toddler's head and the pancakes are platter-sized. Food is very good, very reasonably priced, and while the place is a little loud, it's a diner. It wouldn't seem authentic otherwise. Tip: sit at the counter and chat with the other customers... Definite diner feel. Tons of food for the money. The grits didn't even salt or butter. They were perfect. The biscuits are bigger than the palm of my hand. It's loud though, so be prepared. We had about a 10 minute wait outside because there's absolutely no room to wait outside, do don't come during bad weather. Definitely coming back!

My large family (7 in total) decided to visit Greensboro and grab breakfast downtown at Smith's. On a Saturday morning at 8:00 the place was packed and we had to wait for seat. The diner is small, with no waiting area, so we had to wait outside But it was worth it. The food was great diner breakfast: eggs, bacon,... More

The biscuit is the size of a softball! But tender & flaky & warm. Pancakes are light, Corned beef hash nicely grilled & eggs done to perfection. New Orleans strength coffee rounded out a perfect breakfast!!

Great breakfast but they wouldn't let me inside out of the heat until my entire party arrived - and it was a very hot day.

Needed a quick bite to eat so we checked to see what was local and this dine came up. We were just about the only people in there and it was so peaceful. The food was incredible! One of the best burgers I have had in a while, also very affordable.

Cool diner in downtown Greensboro. Giant biscuits and pancakes. The service was great and the food was nice and cheap whole family ate for less than $25 and that included bottomless coffee.
