Been here several times for lunch, happy hour, and dinner. The food selection is good and tasty. The service friendly and competent. More of a dark cozy place and not really for families. Never been disappointed. Never been wowed. Similar to O'Charley's, Applebee's and similar chains but a tad more unique. I think steak and seafood is their main thing.... More

We stopped by on a Wed night for a quick dinner. We were promptly greeted at the door by a friendly hostess and seated at once. Our waitress showed up immediately to take drink orders. The decor is fabulous. Lots and lots of mahogany colored woodwork and trim, with forest green carpets and upholstery. The bar area is spacious with... More

Meet at Tripps for a family dinner. Friendly staff greeted us at the door. Our waitress was also great. We had the prime rib and ribeye specials and thought the were delicious. Good calamari as an appetizer as well.

We had a great lunch here on our way through Greensboro. Our server was very nice and the food was served fairly fast. This was a nice stop. The salads are great.

My small filet was broiled to perfection, tender and juicy. The Tripps staff graciously provided me with a baked potato which was not covered with salt -- an important point for people like me with high blood pressure who limit their intake of salt.

Great food and more than generous portions. Service and atmosphere was excellent. Took a group of hungry basketball players here after a all day tournament and they left full and had doggie bags!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can't go wrong. Try the breakfast omelet with shaved prime rib! Lunch salads are exceedingly fresh and very ample in portion sizes. The dinner pork chop fillets are superb! Tripps is a tremendous value for discriminate diners on a budget.

My wife doesn't like to arrive at any restaurant in the last hour of service, thinking the kitchen and wait staff are attempting to clear out and get ready for closing. However, we had few options after a movie Sunday night with few sit down places still serving at 9 pm. Tripp's used to be a great place but has... More

We came after church with my family and friends from church we it took forever to get our food, and check and everything. It took so long I don't want to return. The salads were fresh and the chicken tenders were good but it just was too leisurely for my taste.

Thank Jessica E
