Fish bones has a easy going style. A neighborhood hotspot with great food. Everything came out hot fresh & fast. We had a little of everything thing.

Motorcycled into the city to a B and B within a short walk to restaurants and market. Found Fishbones to be bustling with people of all ages, packed on a Monday night, efficient and attentive waitstaff despite a full house. Numerous specials, reasonable prices, outdoor terrace if wanted, large bar with small tables. Excellent choice of fish and styles of... More

Overall, the experience was very good at this neighborhood eatery located not far from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. The food was served in a timely manner and was very good and the price reasonable for a party of four. The wait staff was excellent and very accommodating. One originally ordered plate was exchanged for another order which appeared... More

Really enjoyed Fishbones. Small local restaurant near UNC-Greensboro. Fun bar, nice outside dining area, and great food! Super value for the menu, fresh seafood (we had the grouper and flounder daily specials), and a very nice/reasonably priced wine list. Price/quality combination can't be beat!

Another local favorite! Bypass all the big expensive restaurants and go local! It looks like one of the neighborhood bars near UNCG, but the food is delicious and the service is great. Be prepared to wait during busy hours or plan around them. I was so surprised the first time I went here. I wasn't expecting much but bar food.... More

I met a client and his wife at this restaurant, and was very pleased with the food, drinks, and service. This is obvious a local diner, and if I lived there, I would frequent this restaurant often.

The food and drink selection were great. i had the sw chicken burrito. The cabbage in the burrito really makes the difference. The beer selection is incredible for such a small place. The staff was great as well. were going back

We enjoyed the blackened catfish and fish tacos both very good, especially the catfish. Good size potions and reasonable price. Funky little space with good seating to watch the world slowly go by.

A group of 7 celebrated a birthday. We were able to get a large table outside-thankfully the weather cooperated. Inside the tables are smaller and it is hard to converse in a group larger than 4. All the food was yummy and the servings very generous. The salads were large-plenty to eat. Fish and chips consists of 2 generous pieces... More

Came here at recommendation of friends. Have added to our 'favorites' list. The service is great; attentive but almost invisible thereby anticipating your needs as it should be. Servers know the menu and will guide if asked. The food is outstanding. It busy but not crowded or overly noisy at 6 pm on a Saturday evening. Do yourself a favor... More
