We visited here after a day of showing the area to visiting family. I had the Shrimp Korma and the group shared a bottle of Shiraz/Cab blend and I thought the whole meal was amazing! We ate Family-style and I tried the other 3 dishes...as well, but don’t know what they were called. All were fabulous. We even had leftovers to bring home for the kids. :)More

Ate here with my family we all shared the dishes, Within an hour after finishing the below average meal my son and wife both had upset stomachs. The curry was watery, the chicken tikka was dry and burnt, Chicken Makani was mostly onions and very...little meat with watered down curry. The Garlic nan was greasy and over buttered. What a waste of my money. The reviews here seem fake and doctored as there is no way anyone in their right mind would give this place 5 starts.More

Very good and authentic food. Best Chicken Vindaloo in Greensboro. Absolutely recommended for anyone who enjoys foid which is cooked with real spices.

I have eaten at several Indian restaurants in Chapel Hill and find this the best I’ve had in North Carolina. We had four entrees - two meat and two vegetable , garlic naan, and a paneer tikka appetizer. The seasoning was perfect for all the...dishes. The service was wonderful. I wish they were in my home town.More

We typically go to the lunch buffet. We always enjoy the variety of food. Many dishes are the same each time and a few change. I like the goat dish. We often go on birthdays etc.

The restaurant is nice and clean. Staff is less than friendly. The food is good but. It excellent anymore. This used to be the best Indian place in town but has degraded in the past 1-2 years. The chicken is over cooked and tough. Food...is left too long on the buffet. The flavors are nice but not at all reminiscent of real Indian food (I have spent 2.5 months in India already this year). It is a good lace but there are better now in Gso.More

Nice place close to Greensboro downtown. Generous portions. Tandoori dishes are quite delicious. Goat biriyani is authentic and off the chart.

I enjoyed my dinner here but did not fall in love with it. It had nothing to do with anything in particular. It was my first visit here and was trying something new. I will chalk it up to a bad choice on my part....I enjoyed the atmosphere and staff very much. I will return and try something a little more familiar to my taste buds.More

It wasn’t long ago that there were only a couple of choices for Indian food with Saffron being the top. Now we have 3 other very good Indian options in the area which makes it harder for Saffron to stand out. That said - the...facility is clean, colorful and well laid out. The food is good (quality and flavor) and the service is always top notch. Others may compete in some of these areas but Saffron delivers across the board.More
