Unusual choice when you order the chili over pasta. But it works out very good. I highly recommend trying Cincy's Downtown
Loved it, second time to the establishment. Excellent. They serve the ‘Nati’ chili, I got a 3 way and a cheese coney all the way. Okay, be warned Cincinnatians, they cater to locals as well and add slaw to a coney (OMG) so order all...the way except slaw and you will be fine. They even have oyster crackers. On a down note they serve a different hot sauce but worth the trip to find this gem. Hidden down a dead end while a nearby property is under construction. Hat’s off to Cincy’s!!!More
Cannot say enough about this place. They did a fantastic job on hosting our son's 50th Birthday Party. Bonnie and her helper were incredible as they did anything and everything we wanted to make it a success. They had as much fun as we did...and that made it even more special. The food was wonderful. Chili with all the trimming along with other extras. And that cobbler; to die for. Thank you Bonnie for making Michael's desire for Cincy's Chili a reality as he lives in Monroe and cannot get delivered there. lol. A great place for your party.More
If you are from Ohio you probably know about Cincinnati style chili. But who knew you could find it in Greensboro? What a treat! If you are interested in going then put it on your lunch schedule because they are not open for dinner.
Went to Cincy's for lunch. Overall a good meal. All my friends raved about the chili. I thought it was good, but didn't quite understand the "rave". I did love the idea that you could get your chili over spaghetti and the fact that they...bought us little chili samples at the very start was much appreciated! This is apparently a Cincinnati-type chili...more watery and that's why the option to serve over rice or pasta. I guess I like a more thick chili. But, the place is very quaint, very clean, somewhat of a hidden gem I guess. I had 2 hot dogs with chili on them and they were very good. I had cole slaw and that was average. Our server was excellent. So, overall I give them a 4...I would definitely go back, but maybe try something a bit different.More
Was skeptical as I do not like Skyline chili but I was pleasantly surprised that the chocolate and cinnamon were not noticeable. Good chili, lots of spices, hot dogs were great. Was a good lunch stop.
I had lunch at Cincy's while I had Jury duty. First, the location was great, right in the center of downtown. I had been to Cincy's years ago and this was just like it was way back then. I had the 3 Way which was...just Great!!! Other friends had the Hot Dogs which also looked Great. I'm looking forward to returning to Cincy's in the future. The food is just great.More
Go to Cincy's! I suppose the Cincinnati Chili is the flagship, but they have something for everyone. My favorite lunch is the Cordon Bleu. If the creamy chicken soup is available, get at least a cup. But the Cincy's experience isn't complete until you savor...the Chocolate Fudge Brownie with vanilla ice cream.More
Cincinnati chili at its finest!! Wonderful family atmosphere!! Everyone is so welcoming and helps you choose what you may like to eat. Even giving samples!! The vegan does not taste vegan and is spicy but not too spicey! They serve the chili so many different...ways, over salad, over pasta, on hot dogs, on its on!! Make sure to visit at lunchtime only as hours are 11 to 2 but they do cater!!More
