This restaurant is attached a hotel (Doubletree). Service is poor, took over 30 mins just to get my bill, food quality is sub-standard - Hooters across the road may have been a better bet.

Seven of us for dinner. Greeted at door by hostess. Had to wait about 5 minutes for them to prep a table for us. Given menus and beverage orders taken. Shortly thereafter server came and took our orders. Despite the crowd, food was delivered to the table shortly. I ordered Fish & Chips; chips were crispy, thin potato slices; fish... More

Went in and had great service, with a girl named Toni I believe. She was friendly and nice. I had quick service with wings (which were really good - lots of meat and flavor) and a steak and cheese. I loved them both. Thanks you J Butler.

We try to go there and watch the big three in horse racing! The food is very good and the service is excellent!

Haven't been to a J Butlers in years. My spouse used to work at one about 20 years ago. We asked for an item that was not on the menu anymore, "The Chili Burger". We told the waitress what we wanted and she ask the kitchen to make it for us. They were happy to do it. The chili burger... More

The waitress said it would be a few minutes for our đrinks to arrive. The place was not vertu busy at all and we had to wait awhile for our food. There was 7 adults and 3 kids. The FOOD Came out in separate times with as long as 5 minutes between arrivals. Some people were halfway through their own... More

Here for breakfast (it is attached to the hotel) after a night at the Doubletree. The breakfast buffet was OK (honorable mention for the perfectly cooked scrambled eggs) but the rest of the items were clearly institutional food preparations or even instant (like the grits). Edible but hardly memorable. The price seemed a bit steep for the quality. Service was... More

Excellent food and great times! This great group stayed open during a winter storm when no other restaurants were open giving us the opportunity to have a great meal and unwind after a long ,stressful day of driving on icy roads!

The foo was average at best. The service was very slow. The clientele from the local area did not make outsiders feel particularly welcome. The décor and atmosphere was mediocre.. More of a local medium low class bar atmosphere. With the emphasis on bar. I wasw at their Archdale location, just south of High Point on Route 311.

Thank Ron P
