We decided to eat here for lunch. There were very few diners here. Covid precautions were in place and the restaurant has a posted 96.5 food inspection rating. We were seated, our drink orders taken and we were given chips and salsa. After that point, service was very slow. We waited and waited for refills and for our entrees. We both had lunch fajitas: steak for $10. for me and Costa Azul for $10.95. The Costa Azul had tilapia, scallops, shrimp and "crab". The "crab" was clearly artificial crab meat. My husband liked the seafood entree. The food portions were small. I had perhaps 2 ounces of steak in my meal. We had to wait and wait for the check. We will not eat at this Mexico location again.

Came here cause it was close to where we were at. Just ok nothing to rave about. It was a nice inside setting. The horchata not so good. I had the parrillada jalisco and wasnt even sizzling when it came out.

We decided to try Mexico Restaurant today. We were the first customers of the day. We both ordered the Shrimp Fajitas Lunch for $9.95. We enjoyed the chips and salsa before our meal. There seemed to be a hint of chili powder in the salsa. Our portion of shrimp fajitas was skimpy, to say the least. We each got a total of about 1 cup of sides. He had both rice and beans and I asked for just refried beans. Then we each got 12 small to medium grilled shrimp, a few pieces of onion, a few slices of bell pepper, and a small wedge of tomato. There was about 3/4 cup or less of the shrimp fajitas mixture. We also each had 3 small flour tortillas. I commented to Hubby that at our favorite Mexican restaurant, we also get a salad plate with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole to eat with fajitas. Not so here at the Mexico restaurant. We also thought the entrees were overpriced by $1 to $2 over our favorite Mexican restaurants. Service was attentive, but with their high prices and skimpy portions, we will not return here.

I had been craving birria tacos for awhile. Having just moved to NC from Southern AZ, I was skeptical that I’d ever have good tacos again. I ordered through Door Dash and my order was delivered exactly as ordered. In addition to the four birria tacos with Oaxacan cheese, I ordered a side of rice and a pineapple agua fresca. The tacos were still warm and crispy when they arrived. The consumme was hot and a nice compliment to the tacos. The meat was flavorful and a good amount inside each taco. The guacamole was cold and nicely spicy. The salsa was smooth and very delicious. I was very happy with the entire meal!

Ah, Mexico... We've been going here for, literally, years. Back in the day, it was fresh, hot, tasty, with quality ingredients, and excellent service. We moved a few years ago, so haven't been back in a while. But we had an errand which took us nearby at lunch time, so we thought we'd drop in on one of our favorite old haunts. Unfortunately, things have changed, and not for the better. Chips and salsa were right out of a bag and a can, the former not even heated up, and the latter just blah red sauce, with no kick, and nothing fresh in it at all. Service was slow, even with the restaurant barely a quarter full. Polite enough, but it took fifteen minutes to finally get our order in. A quesadilla for one of my kids, lunch fajitas for another, shimp tacos for me, and chilaquiles for my wife. The quesadilla was the only thing that was even moderately acceptable. The fajitas, which in every restaurant I have ever had them served, come on a sizzling iron skillet, were served on a plate, with very little meat, no onions, and cold rice. The shrimp tacos had three tiny shrimp each, tortillas that weren't even warmed up, and sauce, again, right out of a jar. As for my wife's meal, let me just say that she LOVES chilaquiles, but these were honestly inedible. A cold mass of cheese, a few strips of chicken, and three tortilla chips underneath. Just sad. This little lunch, again, nothing special ordered, took an hour to be served, and while the waiter was good enough to take off my wife's meal, meal was over thirty five dollars, and that's with my son literally having a single cheese quesadilla. WAY more expensive than they used to be. I do hate it when an old favorite lets it all go to hell. Makes me sad. There are a pile of Mexican restaurants in Greensboro, so save yourself the trip to this one, and enjoy your meal somewhere else.

For Mexican restaurant, this is an expensive place. I can pay more money for good food but they do not have good food. The beef was very salty - that tells me it was not fresh. Quality and quantity of food was bad! The service was lousy and I ended up paying $350 for a beer. Bad source coupled with very bad tasting food, we will not be going back there again! Good bye Mexico!

Went in for a quick early lunch and was positively surprised - large portions, authentic Mexican food for a very affordable price. I could not ask for more

I had not been here in a while but their food is consistently good. I had a shrimp beef and chicken with rice. I put my cheese on the side so I could have as little as I wanted. My daughter called the dish by a name other that what was on the menu. There was plenty and I brought some home and had for lunch Sunday.

We went for a business lunch and it was my first time there. Not crowded and nice decorations. Very attentive and friendly staff and our service was very quick and efficient. I had the California Burrito which was excellent. Tasty beans. The chips were very good and the green salsa was outstanding. Great experience and I will definitely go back.

My husband and I eat dinner here quite frequently. The portion sizes on the food are always great and usually we end up taking leftovers home. The prices are decent and service is very quick and the staff is friendly and attentive. Our drinks do not stay low/empty long. I'm a big fan of margaritas but would maybe give them a C+ in this area. They don't make them very strong and they are super expensive compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. We will continue to eat here as you really can't beat the good service and we have never had to wait for a table.

Portion sizes were large. Service was decent. But low on the taste department where it counts. I ordered the Carnitas dinner which was mostly bland but for the meat itself. The Salsa was mediocre at best. I ordered what they called a 'Chocotaco' for dessert. Big mistake. Dont bother with this. It is a simple Taco with vanilla ice cream on the inside and some Chocolate sauce on the outside. It was so hard it was bending the spoon and I had to ask for a knife. A most unremarkable place in a strip mall, would definitely give this a miss.

Food here is decent and not the best salsa by far. The waitstaff is very attentive and keep a good check on your beverages. Service is fast and prices are not too bad. A bit lacking on ambiance, but if you are in this area, worth eating at,

Nothing special. Our taquitos were burnt. They forgot the guacamole. The chips are very greasy. Enchilada supreme was probably the best part of the meal. Flan wasn't what I hoped, have had so much better. I'll continue to search for better mexican in this area.

Lunch bill was $17.24 before tip. Had Chicken ACP and luncheon beef tip chimi, plus 2 ice teas. Chimi was smaller like a taquito and chicken on ACP was probably less than a chicken breast. The chips were not warm, but still good. Salsa was creamy but good also. Probably would not go there for lunch again.
