This family-owned restaurant has been in business here for decades and we have enjoyed our visits. We have not been in a while ... but decided to drop in for lunch recently. The restaurant was clean and neat as we remembered, and spacing and cleansing...practices are clearly in place. We each ordered pasta and split a salad. My spaghetti Bolognese was fantastic ...never had better anywhere, including Rome or Florence. My wife much enjoyed her tomato/lemon pasta as well. The salad and bread service was delicious, and service skilled and prompt. Ray, an owner, was cheerful and his banter made us feel especially welcome. Portions were generous, especially for lunch, and the lunch pricing most reasonable. They are willing to tweak any meal to your preference ... just ask Ray. They also do well-priced takeaway family dinners and we got menus and plan to try that before long. This is an Italian restaurant that knows how to do it RIGHT.More

Went with a group of people from work while we are all there from out of town. They were able to put us upstairs so we could all talk and eat. It was very good. I had the grilled chicken and roasted potatoes. Just wish...had a few more beer selections. They serve you with bread and pasta sauce when you sit downMore

I met here with a group of cousins in December of 2019. There were about 17 to 20 of us and Cafe Pasta accommodated us easily. A more private space and group menu options were offered at the time of my reservation; which was great....Our space was available right on time. Food was brought out quickly and EVERYTHING was good! The waiters were very attentive and friendly as well. Each of us constantly commented about how good the food was and how reasonable the prices were. We had multiple pasta dishes, salad (Which was not some iceberg lettuce thrown together with shredded carrots. It was SO well prepared and filling.) and garlic bread. My only reason for not giving a 5 star review was because after we'd all picked over the food, they don't allow you to take what's left even after you've paid for it. The food for groups is priced per person and displayed buffet style and when you leave, my thought is that they throw it away. Not being able to take what we paid for is my only complaint. We drove there from Charlotte, NC and plan to do it again. It was great!More

We have gotten two family meals since the stay home order. We have gotten the chicken piccata and the lemon chicken. Both were great and plenty of food for 4 people at a reasonable price. Cafe Pasta has been around a long time. I hope...people will support it during these tough times.More

The restaurant Is large and has a nice decor. Our food was good and reasonably priced. I thought the homemade potato chips were quite good. Would recommend and return.

... several years ago. It is in the regular rotation for “Date Night” and will stay there due to excellent food, service, and value. Everything on the menu is genuinely top-notch.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday with my best friend. The atmosphere was really nice; just a great place to sit, relax, and chat. I ordered green apple martini: great flavor and pretty strong. Friend had a glass of white wine. I ordered the...Mediterranean salad with salmon. The dressing was really good, and I got my salmon almond crusted. Friend got shrimp scampi; she really enjoyed it and was able to eat the whole portion since it was lunch portions. We also got fresh bread with a marinara sauce. We will definitely return.More

Really loved the food. We ordered the Cajun penne, wedge salad and the spinach dip. All food came out just right. Waitress was very helpful and manager checked on us a few times. The only downfall to this place is the Christmas lights. Gave me...a headache after a while. Overall a very good experienceMore

We had 12 people in are group of very pickey patrons. The waitstaff recommended entrees that where almost all Special orders. Everyone of the dishes came out , picture perfect, and quickly, because we had to go to a play. The owner took time to...bring my daughter , a Special dessert on him, for her birthday, in which we never asked for, the waitstaff must have overheard us talking about it. To top it all, the prices where a bargin for the amount of food received. We can see why now, this place has been a favorite, for 35 years. Thanks Again MichaelMore

This tucked away Italian restaurant not far from the main thoroughfare offers an inviting if unique interior. Feeling similar to a cruise ship with its entryway, twinkle lights and no windows, this two floor charming restaurant has attentive service and very good food. Our party...of 8 was seated in the lift area, offering elbow room and a fun feeling of being ticked away but still included. Fried zucchini and caprese appetizers were both quickly delivered and consumed. Our pasta choices- lasagna, spaghetti squash, and a gluten free option, as well as main course salads were attractive, good sized potions and delicious. Nice wine and beer list. We were never made to feel rushed. Parking lot across the street was a relief in this mostly suburban neighborhood. Would definitely recommend, especially for a group this size. Ask for the loft area!More

I'm not 100% on this but I think not. I noticed smokers were going in front of the building near the entrance. I also did not see doors to a porch or anything like that. It is not a large building.
