We occasionally take lunch here as it is some distance from our house. Each time we dine, we are surprised by the cuisine. It is excellent. The menu, like all good restaurants, is not large but take a chance with the owner, Pietro's choice and you will be amazed. The pasta and fish are superb and the staff are most... More

Wonderful food prepared in an open Kitchen. Lots of sea food varieties as well as meat and fresh veggies and Swiss deserts ,which means chocolate.

Fantastic in every way - food, atmosphere, and hospitality. The owner was a great host and everyone enjoyed a great evening in Kilifi.

Possibly the best location of any restaurant in Kenya... perfect for romantics, perfect for groups, perfect for everyone. If a Seafood fan... then go. If not a seafood fan, still go as they will do anything for you if they have it in stock. Owners are fab and super friendly. Great for kids. If in Kilifi or passing through -... More

This restaurant is typically closed for the month of July, but he is a friend of a friend so he and his staff opened for 15 of us for a personal dinning experience! Great appetizers: bruschetta and salmon spread crackers, tomato and cream pastas and then an array of fresh fish and meats for the main course. Finished off the... More

Nautilus is a real must when visiting Kilifi. We go every year and it is always fantastic. We went at night, brilliant location, wonderful lights, great friendly staff, excellent service. The menu is varied, but you must try the breaded prawn starter and lemon pasta with crab for main course. The whole evening was made very special with the owners... More

As a group after work we decided to explore Kilifi and one of the restaurant we visited was nautilus . An excellent restaurant owned by a Swedish family sitting on the Indian Ocean . What impressed me were 2 things ; the warm reception and the food. I have never in my life enjoyed or ever tasted oysters. The chefs... More

Sitting on the veranda looking out into Kilifi's creek while sipping on wine, it's easy to forget you're in Kenya when at Nautilus. Not to say that you would want to, nor is it a bad thing. But it feels like a Southern European coastal restaurant plonked onto Kenya's coastline. Which I guess is what the owner, a Swiss, has... More

We enjoyed our meal sitting out in the"floating" deck. I don't think they were at their best as 2 chefs failed to turn up and so service was slow. However, the food was very good. Note: they do not accept credit/debit cards
