Visited twice while in Gatlinburg- Oh so Good!! Best Mushroom cheeseburger ever!. My mom had the Ruben on home made marble rye- says best she has ever had!! Potato salad delicious! Elaine, Gary & Joy- Thanks for having Coor's light available- it was a pleasure...having lunch at your place. Nice to sit outside and enjoy the fall air- quite a change from Cocoa Beach. Plan on a little wait- one flat top grill & they cook to order so everything is hot and fresh- IT IS WORTH THE WAIT! Wish there was a higher rating than 5 stars!!More
We have eaten here several times over the years, and have had many a good burger, sandwiches and more. This visit we opted for breakfast to change it up a bit. The fried taters were excellent, as always, and the eggs very tasty; and the...service was spot on, as usual.
Unfortunately all wasn’t perfect: My only complaint, was that the bacon was way overcooked, and on all 3 orders. The flavor was ok, but a little hard to enjoy eating. Still Not sure what happened....
I still recommend going here. They do serve one of the best burgers in the area. And the owners work hard to make it in a business that’s hard to make it in: in this day and time, that isn’t easy. And the service is always genuine.
On a side note, I’d like to commend the owner on a recent response to a complaint on “COVID ignorance”. The required sign for mask wearing is there, as stated, so at this point, it’s up to the patrons. And, our server had her mask on; so I’m not sure what else can be done. Hopefully this covid nonsense goes away after the election. Give Timbers a try for yourself...More
EXCELLENT lunch spot. Quiet and quaint with great food. Loved the skinny Reuben... no skinny on the meat there! And the fried potatoes were seasoned beautifully. Thank you again for the wonderful lunch off the beaten path!
I didn’t think the food was that great and I thought that the person taking the order was a bit snippy.

Our food isnt for everyone, and sorry if you thought our help was snippy. She works hard to make sure she is getting order correct and trying to hear and communicate with masks on.
Thanks for trying us and have a blessed day!
We were traveling with our dogs and found Timbers Log off the beaten path. Its away from downtown in the arts and crafts district. We sat outside under an umbrella on this beautiful sunny day. The patio was shaded by the trees and was very...clean. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and there was plenty of them! I took half the plate home and finished it that night. My husband ordered the breakfast. He finished his and we both thoroughly enjoyed our choices. Since they are doing friendly, the scenery was amazing and the food was delicious we recommend to anyone and will certainly be back!More
