Morning Mist Cafe is tucked away in the Arts and Crafts Community of Gatlinburg and surrounded by many different artisans. Seating for forty inside and 25 outside on a cozy patio deck over a babbling creek. Our patio deck is also pet friendly. Our lunches are made fresh and are prepared and served by the owners. We host three green salads, six homemade salads, six unique appetizers, eleven sandwiches, huge burgers, many sides and homemade desserts including Tennessee lemon pie, oatmeal cake and beautiful mountain cobblers. We also have an assortment of iced lattes and iced mochas made from freshly “brewed at the cafe” cold brew. We hand pick all fruits and vegetables from local farmers and markets.

A nice litle cafe tucked away in the arts district. Plenty of shops to visit before you grab a bite to eat. Very friendly staff and we were seated quickly. They do not have a large staff, so if your in a hurry, you might...look elsewhere. Service was slow, but well worth the wait. We all agreed it was one of the best lunches we had on our trip. The salads were all homemade, and wow, they were excellent. Sat on the patio and had a very enjoyable lunch.More

We came into town and saw this darling cafe. We waited 30 mins so it could open and we could try the food. We had a cold brew mocha, so delicious! The menu did state that they are not fast food, understandable..... but from the...time we sat down till we got our food it took an hour and 10 minutes. We were the 3rd group of ppl to walk in at 12pm. We ate and left at 1:30. We payed for our food and did not tip because no one checked on us to ask if we were ok. Waitress did not ask if we needed a refill. Our food was room temperature. Before we left i thanked the waitress and said “the food was delicious and worth the wait” she gave me huge attitude and said “must not have been that good since you did not tip” before that i was considering coming back. Not after that.More

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch after a morning of hiking and had one of the best meals of our week-long trip. The fried deviled eggs were amazing, and we both loved our sandwiches. Great value and even better food!

I was taking art classes and had time for lunch and happened upon this restaurant. Seated outside on a beautiful fall day I was promptly waited on and ordered the fried green tomatoes with Boom Boom Sauce. I have NEVER had a better fried green...tomato! Piping hot, crunchy and not a drop of grease, the sauce was awesome. I would go back and order this every time!More

We ate here on Labor Day weekend 2020 for lunch to avoid the downtown crowd and were pleasantly surprised. Small restaurant with amazing, fresh, made to order food. Friendly and clean, highly recommend.

First of all the owners are great people and make you feel like family. Secondly, if you are a burger person please for the love of all that is holy go try one here it’s my favorite burger period. Thirdly, if you are a chicken...sandwich lover grab there Morning Mist Sandwich it’s the bee’s knees. I understand that this is getting long but when you run into something this good you want to shout it loud enough for everyone to hear! Enjoy and try their deserts. Sorry no picture but that’s because I scarfed it down before thinking about it.More

We stopped at the Morning Mist Cafe for lunch while exploring the Art and Crafts Community. It was very relaxing sitting at their outside tables on a very hot day. The tables sit under a tree canopy which is very cooling! Lunch was delicious! We...ordered the Catfish Sandwich, a Club Sandwich, a Country Ham Sandwich, French Fries and 2 Fruit Cups and 3 soft drinks. Our total bill was $39.75 including tax. The server was very kind and prompt. We saw him cleaning everything which we appreciated during this Covid crisis. I would strongly recommend this cafe for lunch, we will return here on our next visit!More
