Great burgers. The atmosphere is unique and friendly. The staff had smiles on from the moment we opened the door. If you are hungry for a great burger this is the place.

Across the main street from The Village, is a small alley of shops. In this area is the Mountain Edge Grill, on the second story of these shops. It is a no frills looking place, with simple chairs and tables. We decided on checking it...out, and were glad we did. The décor is somewhat sports bar/ deli sandwich shop. We were seated and served by a gentleman named Ron, an older and friendly kind of fellow. My wife and I both wanted the Mt Le Conte sandwich, and I substituted French Fries (extra), but my wife had chips with hers. The sandwiches come stacked on Toasted Sourdough, but my wife requested untoasted marble bread. We both thought the sandwiches were delicious. Ron was friendly and attentive. The fries that came with my sandwich were big and fried just right. My wife loved the honey mustard that was on our sandwich and asked if they sold it, and Ron said no, but the manager said she could take a little in a to go cup, which was very nice. The sandwiches were plenty for each of us, and my wife had a hard time finishing hers. We felt this was a good lunch, and would like to recommend the Mountain Edge Grill. Nothing fancy, but the food was very good.More
We chose the Mountain Edge Grill because we had eaten there previously. We were in Gatlinburg, celebrating our 30th anniversary. Don was our Waiter and he was fantastic. Brought a candle to our table and checked on us several times throughout the meal.
This place has such delicious food and the most friendly staff. Ron was our waiter. He was so funny and never let us run out of drinks.....brought things before we had time to ask most of the time. Highly recommend!!!
Good for the price. Service good and food good. Not a long wait. You need to be able to walk up a flight of stairs to eat there. No elevator.
We stopped in for a late lunch. We ordered burgers and they were not very tasty. The fries and onion rings seemed like they were cooked and oil that wasn't hot enough they were just shopping and grease. On and up note the server was...very pleasant but so many other places in the area I would skip this one.More
My husband and I have been coming to the Mountain Edge Grill since we started going to Gatlinburg together back in April 2008. We make it a point to do lunch here every trip we take. We were so excited to start bringing our daughter...on our last trip. The food is standard burger/sandwich fare, but it's all high quality, hot, and delicious. I LOVE that they have a bison burger on the menu. My husband tends to order the club every time we go. The kids' menu is great as well. Prices are very reasonable, and it's in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, so, a great place to stop off while shopping or browsing the town.More
We are here during our first ever family vacation and I absolutely loved it! Parts were shut down due to COVID but the white chicken chili was amazingly rejuvenating and filling. It kept us energized all day long! It is a very family friendly spot...and has a really cool and nostalgic 90s ski lodge vibe that my wife and I absolutely loved. Make sure to pop in here if you’re visiting!!More
Good sandwich, beer, and great service. Hidden so not very busy which is a plus right now. I would eat here again.
We enjoyed our lunch at the Mountain Edge Grill. The sandwiches are very fresh and tasty. Also love that you have Cheerwine.
Good food, great service, friendly to the guests and very helpful in helping those of us in a party of 16 who had not been there before what to order. Had a great time.
We come to Gatlinburg for New Years...and ate here on NYE. The burgers were cooked to perfection & were very tasty! Service was great as well! Have eaten here a few times in past too...and will be back!
Service was good, but I feel that the food was very overpriced. My son had a burger, which he said was very good and I had a veggie sub, but it didn't come with a whole lot on it and the bread was dry and...cold. I would not recommend the veggie sub.More
Walked in an empty restaurant. One table, two employees at the register. Wasn’t greeted. Signed in on the board, nobody ahead of us. Waited, waited, and waited. Probably ten minutes. Watched someone pick up their food to go and thought the cashier would take care...of us afterwards. Nope. Didn’t even look at us. Takes a lot to frustrate us as we work in the service industry, well this did the job. We went to no way Jose’s instead and were very happy there.More
We sign in on their chalkboard with 3 tables ahead of us. We were never acknowledged. We waited almost 30 minutes. The 3 tables ahead of us and 2 that came in after up left without being seated. We left after we were told the...“boss” would speak to us and never showed. They had at least 6 empty tables that I could see. We won’t be back.More
