You have to judge this place for what it is. A giant quick service eatery in a super populated tourist town. If you are expecting custom, made to order dishes, you are in the wrong place. We joined the online waitlist about 8:30 am on an October Saturday morning and we’re given an estimate of 80-110 minutes. Yikes! Once we arrived, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated. The ambiance is decorated like an old camp. Lots of stuff everywhere you look. Our server was efficient and friendly. The food arrived about one minute after we placed our order, no joke. The Postmasters Favorite was a ton of food served up in a giant skillet. The grits are mediocre and the chicken fried steak is nothing special but the corn pone, potatoes, biscuit were pretty good. The star of the plate was undoubtedly the griddle cake. Wish I’d just ordered a plate of those. It was an inch high, supper fluffy and delicious. Husband ordered the pot roast Benedict which he wasn’t thrilled with. Menu boasted homemade hollandaise but this sauce looked like it was “homemade” from a powder. Overall, it was fun to engage in the Gatlinburg kitsch dining scene. But we probably don’t need to go back.

Crockett’s got it going on. We wanted to go and see what all the hype’s about. We added ourself to the online reservation from our hotel room. It was about 1.5 hour wait but we could check on our status via phone so not so bad. We had a western omelet with potatoes and scrambled eggs with bacon and fresh fruit. We both got biscuits and a side of gravy. It was good overall. Only negatives was gravy which was thin as milk. And the “cat head” biscuit is like a hybrid biscuit-roll which misses the mark for me. Idk the entire biscuit gravy was a failure for us. Super busy high demand. It’s definitely the place to be but I’ll opt for Cracker Barrel the next time.

We love Crockett's Breakfast Camp and look forward to eating there whenever we are in town. Service is fast and friendly. The restaurant has all sorts of things on the walls and hanging from the ceiling that are fun to look at. We enjoy their signature corned beef eggs benedict and the corn pone that is served with it is really good too. The only reason for a 4 and not a 5 is that the eggs were a little overcooked (when you break an egg on a benedict the yolk should run) and they are skimpy on the hollandaise sauce (it doesn't cover the egg. Another plus is that you can go online and join the wait list which helps as there is always a wait to get in.

This restaurant is extremely large and has a cabin/hunter/pioneer theme. Gets busy the later in the morning you arrive. Free lot parking or surrounding paid lots Handicapped accessible and smoke free Pricing was mid price point for the area. Menu is on a “news paper” they create which is fun and creative Service: not friendly, odd and disconnected interactions with host and waitress. Didn’t seem appreciative for the business and people felt more like a number than valued visitor. If you do not like taxidermy or deceased animals staring at you every three feet while eating this will not be the experience for you. Some are more bothered by that then others Tables and booths both available for all size parties The ham was delicious, the griddle cake was delicious. Waffle was average and eggs were awful Good coffee and tea. My daughter did not like her omelette- she said it was not edible but the waitstaff came to check on us so little/far between we didn’t have the time to wait to reorder something else Would I return? Maybe for a to go order of ham and griddle cakes but not to dine in. Family of four recommends you go to Pancake Pantry or Frizzle Chicken instead

Excellent for our first time visiting! We arrived at opening and there were a dozen or so people waiting. The restaurant filled up quickly, but everyone seemed to get served in a timely manner. We split a meal that was two eggs, two slices of bacon, and a bowl of grits with a biscuit. We also split two biscuits and gravy side and a two pancake side. Everything was at a very reasonable price in today’s world. We will definitely return!

Crockett's is one of many Gatlinburg breakfast places and it's situated along the Main Street in town. We had a 30+ minute wait one recent weekday morning and upon entering we loved the mountain-cabin decor. Our expectations were high. I ordered a combo eggs plus sausage along with a large cinnamon role. Again, my expectations were high. My disappointment appeared quickly. My eggs were on the small-portion sized and the hash browns were small, also. The flavor of each was "average". The major disappointment was the cinnamon role. These rolls are clearly a feature of the place so they should be great! But my role was dry, almost stale, and the icing was really more like a creamy sauce with modest cinnamon flavor. I would not come here again and I would never order one of those cinnamon rolls again.

We were coming from pigeon forge for breakfast and I did use the online waitlist but when i started looking in the morning it said 5-15 minutes. Since it was only 15 minutes away i didn't sign up until we were leaving the room, but in that 30 minutes the wait jumped up to 45 minutes so something to be aware of. The decor and service all was lovely, but it isn't worth a wait. All of the food was fine, but not outstanding. Big portions for sure, but not the best taste. I did like my pancakes, but everything else was really just ok. Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg seemed to be crazy busy with people for spring break, so if you're just looking for a good breakfast go wherever there's less of a wait! Also hard to find free parking, the lot across the street was $10.

We always eat breakfast out on our departure day when staying in Gatlinburg. This trip we decided to try Crocketts. Arrived and was told a 15-20 minute wait and was the restaurant uses a text message app so that you can track your place in line. We were #20 in line, and sure enough, in 20 minutes we were seated at our table. One tip - they don't allow you to wait inside (which is a good thing for crowd control) so if it's cold, be prepared. Our waitress was efficient but seemed to be over worked. I imagine CBC struggles to get enough help much like many other restaurants. Still, I appreciated to be able to sit inside with a slower service than to be outside waiting in the cold. The food was good, but about like most other breakfast places in the area. For us, cute names for items on the menu doesn't justify the prices they charge - which also is higher than the other breakfast places we visit. All in all, really nothing wrong with our visit, however, the struggle to find cheap parking, and the higher prices will probably keep us from going out of our way to eat here again.

Went to Crocket breakfast camp. I would recommend joining the waitlist or your wait could be an hour or more. The Aretha Frankenstein pancakes were huge you could split the order.the food was delicious and served pretty quickly. The locals recommended this place and didn’t disappoint.

Parking is simple if you get there early, $10 for a spot for all day, behind the restaurant, across the street. The wait was almost an hour, they do try to get you in as best as they can, outdoor heaters would be nice especially for those with kids. The burrito was pretty good, the french toast was light and fluffy, the biscuit and gravy ok. The bacon was way overcooked, the eggs on the runny side. Do NOT get the regular cinnamon roll! Ours was dry and not really good, maybe get the fried one??? The potatoes, very good! The portion sizes are very fair, prices are just a little high for breakfast food. Atmosphere is pretty nice and staff was very nice. From the time we ordered to having our food was pretty quick. Would I go back, probably not, but we had heard so much about it we had to try it.

Get there early! Parking free on street nearby if you can get a spot. Six of us shared a huge cinnamon roll. Some meals were served in a cast iron skillet -pretty cool. Food was good. Service decent. Hollandaise sauce slipped off my eggs, looked like egg yolk, and when I requested more, it came cold in bowl. Very unusual.

2.5 hour wait after putting our name on the wait list. Our waiter seemed really rushed. The portions are HUGE. No one should eat that amount. I had the “healthy” waffles and they were so-so. The corn pone was good. The grits were bland. A box of instant grits would have been better and less expensive than the tiny bowl they gave me. It wasn’t worth the wait and I wouldn’t go back.

My wife and I were in Gatlinburg and had breakfast at Crocketts. It was pretty busy but were seated quickly. Our waitress was very attentive. I didn't read the menu carefully enough because I ordered a breakfast that came with more than I expected and ordered one of their Cinamon rolls on top of that! We enjoyed that taking home as leftovers the next day. It was really delicious and great atmosphere. There are not many restaurants i would return to when back in the area since there are so many choices in Gatlinburg. Having said that, I will make an exception for Crocketts because we will certainly return!

Went on a Wednesday morning and used their online waitlist/ worked great and were seated right away. Cinnamon swirl pancakes are THE best - tip: I ordered an omelette and was able to “add” on pancake for a lot less than ordering separately. Waitress friendly and efficient- highly recommend

Of course, Crocketts is so popular, the wait time can be lengthy. Join the online wait list! Be careful, if you are hungry, you will order way too much food. If you are ordering the Griddle Cakes, don't order much else because they are huge. The other portions are large as well, but everything is soooo good!!
