As a local, we sometimes struggle with finding really good, "non-touristy" food. We decided to meet some friends for dinner on a Friday night during a pretty busy, high-tourist time. Rather than driving a long way for dinner, we decided to check out the Buckhorn Inn for their dinner. They recommend reservations, which we made 2 days earlier (Wednesday) -... More

We can't stay at Buckhorn Inn without having breakfast and dinner in the dining room. Breakfast is included in the nightly rate, and is very leisurely and enjoyable. The dinner is $35 per person, but so, so worth it. The menu is different every night, but is always an elegant four-course meal that will either leave you begging for more... More

As other reviewers have mentioned it is a set menu. The dining room is lovely as are the grounds of the inn. Get there a little before seven to check out the grounds and have a glass of wine. Our meal started with bread which was homemade and delicious. The soup was fresh with good ingredients but a little bland... More

There is a one sitting dinner served each night at 7:00 P.M. There is a single menu option. As a vegetarian, each night, they gave me special attention to assure that I was happy. It was all perfect. Fresh bread each night. Steak the first night for my guest with a cheese-spinach puff pastry entree for me. The soups, salads,... More

Had dinner here our first night. Servers are always top notch. Our food was prepared to order from the fixed menu. If you let them know in advance they will substitute an item you like for one that you don't. Actually, everything is good here. 4 courses in a great atmosphere. The chef even comes out to see how your... More

Friends invited us to go eat with them at the Buckhorn. We were there early enough to view the mountains. Food was wonderful! Little pricier that what we usually would have done but it was well worth it. Never had such tasty prime rib. Twice baked potato great along with salad, bread, black bean soup and tasty coconut cream pie.

The food was delicious. I have lived in Gatlinburg 49 years and had never eaten there til last year. The chef picks one dinner a night to fix so there is no choice but food was great.

This is the second time I have had dinner at the Buckhorn and it may be at the top of my list. The food and service is excellent and the atmosphere is the best ever. Great view of LeConte from the windows or from the porch. Pick the night you want to go from the menu and get there a... More

Winding around the mountain road, you will wonder if you got lost, then all of a sudden the Buckhorn Inn appears, a beautiful, quaint, elegant place nestled in the Tennessee mountains. Fantastic romantic atmosphere, beautiful interior, roaring fireplace, and quiet romantic ambiance. the inn is a bed and breakfast as well, uniquely serving one four course meal per evening, although...
