The restaurant was started years ago by my friends Libby and Hubert Hinote. Libby had impeccable taste and a gift for gracious entertaining. I am so happy that the little restaurant they started with the Wild Plum Muffins is still thriving! The atmosphere and the food is beyond excellent! Love, love, love it!

This is a really neat place to spend some time, especially with someone with whom you enjoy being alone. The food is fine, but that is not what this is all about. It's about the experience and atmosphere. Oh, it's usually crowded, but you can tune out everyone else and spend a memorable afternoon, together.

This little gem is off the main drag on the crafts loop. Great tea. Lobster roll is out of this world as is the Buffalo burger. Nice outdoor patio seating available. Service is good. Not open for supper.

This place was very unique and the atmosphere was inviting. The original plum tea and muffins will take us back! The servers wore old fashioned dresses and service was very good. Real China tea cups were used and the food was very good. We highly recommend this place if you visit the Smoky mountains!

Excellent .... this is a gem in the middle of the Glades Craft Area. The chicken salad was excellent - served with fresh fruit and scone. The burger was great! Desserts looked and sounded wonderful but we were too full to try them. Well worth a trip!!

Freshly prepared, great menu and prices. Quiet setting along the arts corridor. Nice stop away from the craziness of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

I been visiting the Wild Plum Tea Room, at least once a year, since about 1996. Their menu has always been varied with many wonderful choices, ladies luncheon fare. However, in the last ten or so years, they have included some offerings that appeal to the heartier appetite. Their chicken salad is superb, flourless chocolate torte excellent, and their signature... More

Okay, so there are a few places we have yet to try, but no matter we make sure we stop here every time we come to the Smoky's and some times we come more than once. The tea is amazing! Food is amazing. Atmosphere is neat. Staff super friendly. And right in the artist colony. This place is a must!!!

This place is great. Amazing food although it stays packed from open to close and parking is limited. I love the atmosphere and the food is inventive and delicious. GET THE PLUM TEA!!!!!

In a town full of tourist attractions the Wild Plum Tea Room is off the beaten track in a beautiful setting an old cabin on the Artist Loop. Worth a drive out there the food is delicious and inventive the service is great. Even men love this place. We will be back. Have to try that alcoholic root beer float... More
