The prosperity steak was fabulous. The ribeye was very good too! Neva’s Potatoes and the bread were also wonderful. Cherokee Grill will definitely be on our last for each time we come to the area!

Our server, Michele, was fantastic. She served our two tables (6 adults and 5 kids) with efficiency and kindness. She made sure to check with the adults before placing the kid table orders. The food was excellent!

We always eat at Cherokee Grill and we always enjoy it but this time it wasn’t great. In fact, most of the food we had wasn’t good. My steak was extremely undercooked so they took it back and it was still undercooked but I didn’t...say anything else about it because that could have made it worse by sending it back so I just ate it. My wife’s meal wasn’t good either. She only ate the bruschetta as it was amazing. We spent the most money on that meal for our whole trip and it was the worst meal we had. The server was phenomenal and was really fun to interact with. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. We just won’t likely eat here again after many previous visits. It’s hard to spend that kind of money and want to chance it again.More

The food was delicious! Everything we had from the salads to the steaks was fantastic. You won’t want to forget dessert because it is sooo good. Our server Susan was fabulous, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Been coming to this restaurant for at least 25 years, since I was in freakin high school! HIGH SCHOOL! With my brother, and mom and dad. And at least ONE of the FOUR of us would order the Blue Cheese Sirloin. And here I am...sitting there once again tonight, the 5th of March of ‘23, with my brother, sister in law now, and the folks and FOUR BLUE CHEESES ORDERED! And on top of them cutting the salads off the menu with every steak, as well as TWO SIDES, you only get ONE SIDE NOW! And the steaks come out WITHOUT the mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes they were advertised to still come with! We point it out to the server right away and we get, “oh it’s on the BOTTOM of the steak now”…. News flash; IT WASNT THERE. Server even went to the kitchen to check. Then, my mom breaks tradition and gets the Boursin Steak… 37 DOLLAR STEAK… supposed to by “STUFFED” (the menu said)… STUFFED with Boursin cheese…. That 9 ounce, 37 dollar steak had TWO BITES with cheese in it… THATS “STUFFED”?!?! The icing on the cake now, here we go!… asked for a DISCOUNT off the bill and the manager who our server asked to come out and address the situation said they couldn’t do that. Then they offered ONE free desert for FOUR PPL TO SHARE instead of some Cha-Ching off of our bills! Unbelievable! Then she said they could take something off the bill but it’d have to come out of our server, Derek’s (who was a wonderful waiter) tab! Wasn’t his fault! Why does he gotta pay?! Unbelievable! So after 25+ years I don’t think we’ll be back… matter of fact, they can keep those rip-off steaks! And the home-brewed beer that used to be OFF THE CHARTS, and is now hit and miss… more miss than hit.More

I always make it a point to visit the Cherokee Grill when I am in Gatlinburg. Tonight did not disappoint! The filet and blue cheese grits were awesome along with our outstanding waitress, Susan.

This is the place we can't wait to eat when we visit Gatlinburg. Highly recommend the prosperity steak, best steak I have ever had. This time we had the best server there. When you go, ask for David!

My husband, who is very picky, swears that they have the best filet mignon, so we visit Cherokee Grill each time we visit Gatlinburg. There sides are great too.

Cherokee Grill was recommended to us by several people so we thought we would try it. We were not disappointed! Our waitress Robin was the best! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and our sides were wonderful. My husband kept saying how good the fries were...and I had the macaroni and cheese with spinach. So good!More

We always go to this place to eat.Always been great.This trip we were there for over 2 hours.It really took hour half to get food.Our steak was not tender and had lot of fat. I had ask if Billy the cook was there.He had got...higher up job and is not cook anymore. WE NEED BILLY BACK.It was only 5 of us but never had we wanted this long fir food.More

Susan is best server we had in many years of coming to Gatlinburg. Great personality, very good server for sure. The food was really good we thought the alamo had the best steaks, NOPE. THEY DO! Hamburger was really good too! We will for sure...be back and ask for susan she was the best part of the whole deal!More

We visited Cherokee Grill Friday, February 17, 2023 after I found it on TripAdvisor. We have visited Gatlinburg many times but never eaten here. We should have made a reservation but didn’t and will do so for future visits. We walked down from our hotel...and put our names in about 6:15 and were told about an hour and half wait. We went back out and visited some shops in the area - it was my husband and I along with our 6 yr old granddaughter. We returned less than an hour later and sat inside the restaurant and waited about 15 minutes when we received the text that we could be seated. We were seated in a booth in the bar area and had a window view. Was tickled to see they offered a Shirley Temple on the kids menu. Husband and I both ordered the prosperity steak and it was cooked perfectly. Veda’s potatoes were good. Granddaughter ordered kid’s cheeseburger and fries and both were good. We added a side of the sautéed burgundy mushrooms they were good but not something we would order again. My salad arrived after our steaks so that was probably the only hiccup we had. They had a cocktail menu on the table and both drinks we ordered were very good. Will definitely come again next time we are in town.More
