The ambiance in the restaurant could be greatly improved if they unscrewed the light bulbs from every other fixture. It's really bright. Even though we were there with family and not for a date, we would still have enjoyed less lights and ones with a...little warmer color. The barbecue restaurant on the other end of the building doesn't feel that same way. Our server was excellent. And the pizza was good. Brick oven cooked, but not New York style thin crust.More
Great pizza place. We had the Sweet BBQ, dough daddies, and a Hawaiian. Then, we threw in a couple pieces of Tropical cheesecake to go... Pros: -Very reasonable price, given their BOGO for pizza right now. -Great location, right in town -Parking on street out...front -Great service -Excellent crust, especially on our BBQ -Tropical cheesecake had great flavor -Good sauce -Eco box is nice Cons -Street parking is limited in Gatlinburg, and the alternative can be expensiveMore
We ordered the Mamma Mia for carry out, and it was delish. Perfect-level of chewiness on the crust and generous toppings. COVID-wise, there was little/no mask compliance by Gatlinburg patrons. Big Daddy’s carry-out line exceeded the CDC’s 15-minute indoor guidance, and there was a lot...of cross traffic between dining rooms and exit. I didn’t feel safe.More
Please try the deep fried deviled eggs app! They are the bomb! Everyone ordered something different for lunch and everyone liked their food. I couldn’t finish my sandwich! The fries are perfect.
My husband loves brick oven and wanted to try this place. Loved the bruschetta, but the pizza was not good at all. The crust was soggy and the toppings were barely there. Overall, not impressed like I thought I would be.
On December 19th we visited this establishment. This is a rewrite since my first post was deleted. The hostess who is supposed to be the face of the business had one of the nastiest attitudes I've ever experienced at a place of business. Quite honestly...it felt very racially motivated because after waiting 30 mins to be seated during a time which they had an immediate seating sign illuminated, a party of 4 white people walked right in and were immediately seated. Our party of 5 people happened to be all black professional men and women. The general manager appeared to be much more accommodating by offering us slightly better customer service in the form of an explanation minus the attitude. Even so, after he offered us basic human decency in telling us that our business was important and that we were valued patrons, it wasn't enough to overshadow the fact that this same hostess refused to seat us while there were 12 tables open. That number continued to increase as we watched 4 different parties leave while we continued to wait. There was never anyone else seated during that time. Then magically 30 mins later we were seated at a table. Also magically from the moment we were seated every non black party after us were seated immediately and sometimes even in close proximity of each other. Maybe she didn't like my black girl magic shirt, I don't know but if you are a person of color or even just a decent human that believes that people shouldn't be treated differently or be given bad customer service just because they aren't a race consistent with the majority then factor the racism in when choosing whether to eat here or not. Personally, I prefer my racism to be more blatant so I know what I'm dealing with upfront, not someone insulting my intelligence while hiding behind theoretical policies that were seemingly only adhered to when it concerned us and not the other nonblack patrons I will also be contacting the BBB. All things considered, I would be remiss if I didn't say that the food was actually good and our server was great. Also important to note that we spent almost 200 dollars so we weren't just a group of cheap negroes looking for a free meal. We merely just wanted a meal.More
Hello! I am the owner of this restaurant. I understand that you were upset this evening, and felt that racism played a part in your experience. We do not tolerate discrimination towards our employees or customers, and any racism is grounds for immediate termination. And...More
Big Daddy must have been in too big of a hurry to get home and see if he could catch Santa Claus and his Reindeer because the pizza i ordered was "Super Doughy"! Not hiw I like my pizza. Pizza crust should resemble its name..."Crust" and be fully cooked from edge to edge. On a night with "No Deals" offered and paying full menu price, I expect exceptional product delivered to my door. $43 later my family is still hungry and I am cooking food anyways. If I could afford a couple lumps of coal I would totally walk down and leave it on Big Daddys Pizza's doorstep!More
HI! I am not sure where you actually ate, but it was not with us. We do not deliver at all, and you clearly reference this pizza being delivered. Also, we were closed Dec 24-26, so you must have us confused with someone else! Sorry!...More
Great service. .great food...highly recommended...jamey and sabrina were awesome! Had the mama mia pizza and a salad and was delicious. Made to feel like family
Terrific pizza at a great price. Must try the pizza with the brown sugar, may not sound good, but it is wonderful!
